Thoughts: I am looking forward to this series because I love the couples!! Elaine and Chris was adorable in Speech of Silence, and now I'm looking forward to more of them in here! Also the return of Ella Koon, whom seems to have a really cute storyline with Chin Ka Lok ;) Then there's Macy and Ruco!

It was actually hard for me to choose a winner...and as I narrowed my favourites down, I got to two....that I decided to give the 5 points too because I couldn't choose! From what I saw, I'm really glad that you guys enjoyed this game! All entries were great....and underneath are my comments to the authors ;) Congrats everybody!

Next Game will be up soon ;)

@Summer: Nice pairing!! Ever since that Valentines commercial, I've always wanted Bosco and Selena to pair up! They looks adorable together xD I really like Bosco's character! Especially how you say that he doesn't fall for girls so easily ;) Makes him seems abit cold, but yet sweet at the same time! The jewelery business and Selena as a model is one of the best idea! And the ending is just super sweet =)

@May: I like your story very much, especially because of Nancy's character. Split personality is a big issue to deal with and I'm glad Raymond was there to help her. Also glad that Nancy didn't actually kill anybody, or else it'll be a tragedy xD I really like how you ended it too! Designing a house together for their future is such a sweet idea ;)

@2as1: You have the most unexpected pairing and I love it! If this story was ever recreated, it'll be a great one because I love both Niki's and Julian's voice!! I can also totally imagine Julian as a 'chick magnet' xD Haha, great ending too! I am imagining Julian's expression while he was replying to Niki ;) So cute!

@Pi: I love bad guys xP I can always imagine the progresses when they soften up and eventually fall for a girl! I fall deep for that xD The best part I like about your story though, is the fire and the way Fala's dad sent a detective after Kevin. Settle but sweet ending =)

@Chii: Your story is so cute! Lols when I saw your description for Natalie...I realized how familiar I am to her xP Course, I do not have any "Rons" around here xD Hehe...I love the idea of how they got locked up together! Only way to know someone is to talk to each other and they were forced to do that ;) The last paragraph was sad though! I believe Ron will come back to find Natalie right?

@yue_mei: Lols, I do not know what to say xD But first of....I don't know if I talked to you too much or what, but I was imagining the tone you told the story in......and it was really cold xD Not that you are cold...cause you are not =) lols because of that, I couldn't stop smiling while reading your story. I also love the way you explained how they fall in love...(brings me back to Kingsley in MOL). Your ending is sad...but I really like it because to me, it was realistic =0 And I must say...just like liking sad songs, I like sad endings too =3

Niki Chow no fear of encountering Kevin Cheng again

Niki Chow and Raymond Wong were shooting outdoor scenes for new series My Cruel Lover. They just started working for 3 days, but they were already shooting a complex and deep feeling scene. The scene was about Niki misunderstanding Raymond for having no pity, so she was heartbroken and started crying. At the scene, it was seen that Tim Gor (Producer Lee Tim Shing) personally directed them, and often pulled them close to discuss. Niki reveals: "Tim Gor is always doing all the work himself, he allowed me to develop on my own, but he would also give us pointers. For example, in the last scene, he pointed out how our emotions should be like. He is a very responsible person. I have encountered many helpful people at work, I need to really appreciate it." Tim Gor said that there are not many FaDans in TVB like Niki's type, if she is able to withstand the difficulty, then she will definitely have good results. Niki heard this and smiled: "I admit that before I was very greedy because shooting series requires a lot of time, but I wanted to do both singing and filming. Now that I put serious consideration into what Tim Gor said, this year I will first focus on shooting series and movies."

After she terminated her contract with BMA, Niki signed a per-series contract for 2 years with TVB. If she were to take on series after series, then it hard to avoid bumping into ex-rumored boyfriend Kevin Cheng. Niki said: "I have no fear, TVB City is so big, and we are both in this profession.' As to shooting a new series with Raymond Wong, she laughed: "Raymond and I met when we were shooting a movie, so there are 4 no fears. No fear of rumors, no fear of fall out rumors, no fear of not familiar, no fear of being too familiar."

First time holding the big banner, Raymond directly admits that his role is extremely complicated. With a new challenge in his acting, Raymond said: "My role changes and possibilities are too many. To some extent, there will be a differences in the way the actor and producer thinks. That time, I know that I cannot have any hard feelings. I know everything that Tim Gor does is for the good of us. However, I feel kind of contradictory because Tim Gor casted me for this role, of course I am very anxious to do the very best, but on the other hand, Tim Gor wants me to relax and really enjoy the role. It's easier said than done." This time, it's heavy screen time for Raymond, after shooting the outdoor scenes, he will go back to shoot studio scenes. Even his time to see his wife is reduced: "Yesterday I only slept for 2 hours, really haven't seen her much in the last 2-3 days. But no choice, I accepted this series, then I have be responsible for my own work."

Thoughts: This series reminds me alot of The Price of Greed =) I'm beginning to like these period dramas...because they always manage to surprise me! This is a new character for Niki and I hope she'd do well in it =) Raymond too! I'm looking forward to his character. Hopefully the filming will end soon though, so that Raymond can spend more time with his wife :)

Happy Valentines!

Tomorrow is Valentines DAy!!! I hope you guys all have a wonderful and sweet Valentines =)

btw, remember the Valentines stories (game) are going to end tomorrow!! ;)

Guessing Game - BONUS ENTRY 3 (Valentines Special)

The Guessing Game is starting once again: Round Two!

At the end of the month, the person with the most points gets to choose what is on the next banner =)

Basic Outline
MUST BE YOUR OWN WORK PLEASE
1 entry for each person
3 points to each person who enters (easy way to get points!)
5 points for my favorite storyline/characters =) (the more detailed, the better! also a brief storyline would be preferred.) (Brief storyline to me, is like a synopsis.)
- Please enter in comment section!
~try your best~

Most likely, I'd end this on Feb.14 ;)

Since it's a special holiday coming up, this bonus entry isn't just just a simple game. I would like to know what pairing, you guys would like to see in the future! So....name ONE couple that have not paired up before....but ALSO tell me what kind of characters you'd like them to play ;) (a brief storyline would be nice too if you guys want! This is also preferred.)

Example: Fala Chen and Raymond Lam - bickering couple (light-hearted romance)

Fala Chen
- fashion designer
- shopaholic
-comes from a rich family (not a good thing)
-arrogant but kind-hearted
-clumsy
-car accident?
- wheel chair???

Raymond Lam
- fala's co-worker
- cheap (values money the most)
- hard working
- sweet-talker
- calm/clever
- orphan
- playboy

Lols, that's a really, really bad example ^^: I have no imagination -.- SO that is really "rough". My literature skills are so bad....that's why I did not write a brief outline. Haha...looking forward to all of your entries ;) Please enter! it's going to be fun xD And it's not so hard either^^

I hope that you guys would like this game =)

EDIT: I feel kinda bad that everyone did a 'synopsis' but I didn't....so here is mine^^
Every entry is looking fabulous so far!! Love them all so much! Keep them coming in by participating!!!!

Example: (most typical story ever -.-)
Raymond's and Fala's first interaction was at a small cafe across their workplace. It was not a great first meeting since Raymond spilt coffee all over her. They even started to argue on the streets. Coincidentally, Raymond's new boss is also Fala! Luckily though, Fala kept most of her real life out of the workplace and limited her bitterness towards Raymond. On the other hand though, they could not stop arguing. She hated his flirting with the co-workers and he hated how she is always so tense up. One day though, Raymond went to Fala's house to give her some work contracts and saw her argue with her family. Though Fala is from a rich family, there was no love from it. As Fala ran out her house, Raymond followed her as well and they landed on the beach.

At the beach, Raymond just looked after her in silence until she began to talk about her family. She talked about her family, how much they cared about money and how her mom died. A mutual bonding between them began to build up and their bickering lessen, even though there are still many. They both have different view points on life but in a way, is similar to each other.

Unfortunately, a misfortune fell upon the both of them in a car accident, and Fala legs became paralyzed. Raymond thinks it is his fault for the accident and begins to care for her. Fala's slowly recognized her feelings for him but instead of showing them to him, she began pushing him away. She thinks that Raymond is only caring for her because of pity. Raymond does love her though, but how can he show her that? How can he tell her that he love her when he on the other hand, isn't a person who can commit to a relationship? He did not force to see her, and she was glad that he didn't come anymore....Both tried to live the life they use to, but an empty hole remains in their heart. Can both of them reveal their feelings and accept each other?

Ending is a good one xD (it would be so disappointing for Valentines if it results with a sad ending.)

Home Troopers Overview

I haven't done a review for a long time right??

Overall: This series was enjoyable. (much more enjoyable than I could ever expected) It doesn't have a unique storyline....but the way they carried out the story wasn't as draggy as the usual family dramas. It flowed pretty quickly for me...except the last few episodes. I also love the variety of characters in here and the way they had developed.

Out of all the relationships...I personally thought Kimi and Benny was the cutest (even though they barely have 5 minutes together), and the other one I like is Ha Yu and Liza. At first, I thought Bernice and Kevin was really cute....but then I think they kinda went downhill =/ Their bickering in the ending was really cute though!

For the side characters, I really liked Raymond Cho. I pitied him alot and at some parts, actually wishes that Bernice had loved him instead. Claire Yiu's character is considered to be the 'bad' one. I do not agree with her actions....but they are understandable. Personally though, I do not think that love can be force. The more you force it, the worser the situation gets. And in the end, love cannot come out of forcing.

The Ending
Not surprising...it was a happy one =) I do like the ending, but there are some things I still wonder. Where is Sing? So his dad really take Sing from Bernice just like that!?! I wanted them to unite so badly!! It is really upsetting to see them separated when more than half of the series had them!

Bernice is the main reason why I wanted to watch this series. Her character in here is a kind-hearted girl who is viewed as a bad girl because of her past. She has a burglar as a dad and was even sent to a girl's home after taking up a charge for him. Bernice did not have a happy childhood but she never gave up on life or have put it on a negative mark. She's always positive and kind-hearted. For example, she has a son in here but it's not her real son. It was her ex-boyfriend's son and when he left her....he also left his son. That is why she took him in a loved her as much as her own child because she did not want him to have a bad childhood like she did.

I admire Bernice's character and really wish I can be like her. Always sees things with a positive view, doesn't care what others think about her and is proven to be very loyal. Is it a bit unrealistic though?? Um...kinda but not really because realistically, she was actually bottling up her feelings. Even though she might seem so positive, I think she's quite weak inside. That is shown when her dad showed up. You could tell upset she was seeing him and also how angry she was. Why not though? He abandoned her....is there any reason for her to forgive him? I can't think of any, but in the end....he is still her dad. She can't stay mad at him forever and in the end, did forgive him.

From beginning to end, I've really enjoyed Bernice in here. But as the series progresses though, her scenes got lesser and lesser as the story started to emphasis on Liza more. It was heart-breaking to see how Bernice lost Sing. I couldn't hold back my tears during that scene. Even though that guy was Sing's biological father...I still do not feel that he had the right to take Sing away like that....

Also did you guys prefer Bernice to end up with Kevin or Raymond?

Kevin's character is nothing special. As a son, he is good. As a boyfriend, I did not feel for him when Bernice decided to break up with him. I think that every girl would want a guy that can protect her and would always be there for her when she feels down. Kevin isn't really the ideal guy in here...but realistic isn't he? Lols, do anybody here read anime or watch korean dramas? The guys in there are really a dream man everybody wants. But sadly, I don't think we can find anybody like them out here.

Did I feel sorry for Raymond Cho? Yes. I felt really bad for him. Though the things he did were described as wrong, I do not blame him. After the accident, he basically lost everything. It was terrible sad to see how much he loves Bernice. Especially when he showed her the ring and that was the reason why he got crippled. If only he didn't go to Taiwan to get the ring. If only he didn't get into a accident. If only he got back sooner. There is so much if's that could change the whole situation. But you always have to let go of the past to look forward to the future. I'm glad in the end, he figured that out, didn't blame anybody and started over again.

Liza always plays the over protective mother who always plans everything for her children. Though I don't usually like that, it was different in here. I actually quite like her. Though I don't agree with everything she is doing, her character is realistic. Her character developed throughout the entire series. She begins to figure out her mistakes and tried to fix them. She loves her family alot and that causes her to be overprotective. Like all mothers, they can never stop worrying about there kids. Luckily n the end, she learnt to let go....let her children take their own paths and learn on their own.

Ha Yu's character was not out of the ordinary. A loving dad, who's really close to his children. I hope I was as close to my dad as him and Mandy =) This role isn't really any special...and I really don't have much to say.

Mandy Wong is getting quite a variety of characters. In here, she plays as a stubborn daughter of Ha Yu and Liza. Haha, like the saying, the apple does not fall far from the tree, applies here towards Mandy and Liza. Like Liza, Mandy is quite stubborn. She fell for a married guy, and was determined to be with her. Did you guys think she was wrong? I kind of have mix feelings. If only the wife doesn't have a baby....then I'd feel better to say that she was right, but that is not the case. It is not wrong to love someone...and it is not right to fight for your own happiness. But you should always consider the people it'll effect. In the end, is it worth it? It's all up to that person to decide.

I thought that Benny (guy with glasses) and Kimi was really cute together. Haha, maybe it's his glasses, but he looks like a total nerd. That is probably why this pair is so cute. I actually wished that their were more scenes of them. I personally did not like his younger brother with the other girl that much. I didn't like the girl. Their story was also kind of dry. Not to mention that she said she didn't like him right? But why did they end up together in the end??

The Rippling Blossom Synopsis

A Hong Kong dining mogul leaves behind a sushi restaurant to his second wife, KONG YING-YUET (Lui Yau Wai), their son, YU CHI-HIU (Tse Tin Wah) and the son from his third wife, YU CHI-YING (Cheung Chi Lam).

HIU and YING are remarkable Japanese cuisine chefs whose main aim in life is to pursue excellence in chefhood. Although HIU and YING have different mothers, they get along very well.

When their father's first wife, LANG YUNG-YUNG (Lo Yuen Yan) creates trouble for the restaurant, HIU declares to challenge her, claiming whoever wins will have the restaurant.

YUNG sends her personal nurse, CHOI SZ-LUNG (Tavia Yeung) to get close to HIU. He is completely smitten by love for her but soon becomes unhappy with their lukewarm relationship.

On the other hand, their supply for fresh food has been shut out. YING has to make a trip to Hokkaido, Japan to buy fish. He meets KEUNG KEUNG (Myolie Wu), a willful girl from a wealthy family on the plane. They also meet MOYUNG CHING (Damian Lau) who is known as "The God of Fish" by chance in the fish market.

As HIU and YING meet with setbacks in their career, family and their loved ones after their attempt to save the restaurant, the two brothers decide to have a competition.

Thoughts: Tavia's only a nurse....why does she have to follow Lo Yuen Yan's instruction and get close to Michael...? That part confuses me.
