Raymond Lam made a formal announcement yesterday that he has officially left TVB. He explained that he wants to venture out on his own without being tied down. Raymond is one of the three most favourite first line golden siu sangs in TVB, when he left, only Kevin Cheng and Moses Chan are left.

As Kevin is very popular in the mainland, he is also considering leaving TVB when his contract runs out. In the mean time, TVB is heavily promoting Kenneh Ma, Bosco Wong, Edwin Siu and Ruco Chan as their first line "siu sang". Each one of them has at least 3 to 4 series under their belts, whether they will become first line remains to be seen. TVB have lost quite a few siu sangs in recent years such as Bowie Lam, Michael Tse and Wong Hei. Although Joe Ma and Steven Ma were being promoted, they are not TVB's "biological son". Among those who left TVB, Raymond is the one who damages TVB the most as he and the other two golden siu sangs help TVB generate a a lot of revenue.

Kenneth Ma's "Ghost Dragon of Cold Mountain" is being broadcast, he still has few other series lined up such as "Noblesse Oblige", "The Misadventure of Zoo" and "Lord of Shanghai". Bosco's "The Ultimate Addiction" has just been shown, his other series "Under the Veil" is awaiting to be shown. Edwin Siu has 4 series lining up such as "No Reserve", "Master of Destiny", "Overachievers", "Madam Cutie on Duty" and "The Five Eunuchs" which is about to start shooting. As for Ruco Chan, his "Outbound Love", "Ruse of Engagement" and "ICAC Investigators 2014" have already been shown and "All That Is Bitter Is Sweet" is due to broadcast in September. He has just finished shooting "Eye in the Sky" and is scheduled to start filming "Pirate Cheung" soon.

Thoughts: It' kind of sad that Raymond is leaving but at the same time, I think it'll be better for him. Honestly, I think his acting/characters has been going downhill since after Heart of Greed. It'll be weird without him onscreen though.

Man when they mentioned Michael, Wong Hei and Bowie...I miss them so much!!! I absolutely adore Wong He onscreen but from his past with tvb, it won't be easy to see him back. So unfortunate because the guy is a great actor! Then there's Michael, one of my fav childhood supporting actor, it's weird not seeing him around. Since he rose to fame though, his roles got pretty...UGH...I miss seeing him in his supporting roles! Speaking of Michael, where is he now? Filming movies?

Kevin and Moses is at the top? Of course. So who's to rise up to the front line? Kenneth Ma, Bosco Wong, Edwin siu and Ruco Chan? As much as I love Kenneth, I think his acting can be over the top at times especially in comedies. Worse thing is, it seems like tvb wants to promote him through comedy series! UGH. Bosco Wong is actually one of my favourites right now. There's always something likable about Bosco when he's onscreen haha. As for Edwin Siu! Omg...look at the amount of series to be released for him! Personally think Edwin is alright, not a huge fan but meh, I guess I'm fine with him. Ahhh then there's Ruco Chan, our action packed guy! You gotta love Ruco cause he is a great actor. I think all he need is a breakthrough role like Kenneth's Yat Kin, Kevin's Law Ba and Moses' in Heart of Greed.

Hmm...Ron Ng was not mentioned, seems like he've only been receiving supporting roles lately though. Oh!! Vincent Wong! He's getting his first leading role in "Flat Slave"! So excited for the guy! :D

Yes!  You heard me correctly.  Chicken rice is a big deal!  Why?  Cause I am craving it right now!!!  My mom attempted to make it but meh, she's a good cook but I don't want her to try doing that again.  Haha

When was the first time I ate chicken rice?  This past summer.  So yah, not too long ago.  I ate it during my trip at Singapore.  Man it was the best meal I had there since my friend (some of you may know her cause she was once a tvb blogger too!) took us out to eat, so we didn't have to eat the meals set up by the tour.  I don't like the places that tour guides took us to eat; would rather eat out in the streets.  Anyways, the place we went to eat at took place at this food court?  Damn, the line for the chicken rice was long!  I waited half an hour in line to get two plates of chicken rice.  Crazy but worth it!  I was also surprise how cheap it was too!!  Three something for a plate?  Where can I get that price in Vancouver!?  Nowhere that is.

Anyways, the chicken was so tender though I didn't notice how fragrant the rice was at first.  When I got back to Vietnam, my cousin also took me out to eat more chicken rice (since I told her I really liked it in Singapore).  The chicken is not as tender where I ate at Vietnam, but the rice was sooooooooo good!  It has the flavour of chicken but also bits and pieces of ginger (I LOVE ginger).  The taste is still lingering in my mouth right now!  Sigh, I miss the tender chicken and awesome sauce in Singapore and the delicious taste of the rice in Vietnam.

I'd really love to visit Singapore again one day, not just for the chicken rice but also because I quite like the place.  Maybe I'll talk more about it later? :)

So....to connect this post to TVB, have anybody here watched "Yummy Yummy" featuring Kevin Cheng, Charmaine Sheh, Raymond Lam and Tavia Yeung?  They made chicken rice in there!!! haha I love the part where they participated in the competitions.

Elaine Yiu looks gorgeous in her dress!!  I actually really love this style of dresses.

It's totally the dress.  Poor Christine.  That dress is a  fashion disaster.  There's too much layers and worst is the waist band being too high up.  It should've been lower to tighten up her waist.  While Christine may not be as small as the other artistes, she looked totally different a few days ago at a function.  So I think it's the dress issue.

Him Law looks dang handsome in the upper half!  Man, his pants is too glossy for my liking.  As for Mag Lam, nice dress design but the colours was a total disaster.  Made her look washed out.

Taking Him Law's other arm, Mandy Wong once again appeared in a lime green dress.  While I liked the other one I saw her in, this one was not to my liking.  Not that the dress looks bad because I actually really love the colour and design.  Problem is it doesn't match Mandy herself.  The colour is too 'youthful'/'happy' for Mandy, who I think would be better off with cooler colours.  Also cause the hair didn't really suit the atmosphere of the dress.  Man, I think the only style for short hair is slicking them back?  Cause it's usually like that isn't?

With such a handsome same and adorable dimples, Ronald Law only disadvantage is his height!  Can be problematic for his acting career, which saddens me.

Outfit wise, Ronald looked great!  Only thing I didn't really like though were his boots.  Dunno why but they looked too feminine for me :P  As for Grace Wong's, it seem quite casual for the occasion but she does look nice!

Corinna attended the event in rock star outfit.  While I do not fancy the vest she had on (don't like how broad it is), the rocker look suits her.

Who was the best COUPLE AND BEST DRESSED of the night!?!  Of course it was Linda Chung and Ruco Chan!  Just look at how their outfits match!

Truthfully, I think Ruco Chan's style is one of the best among the siu sangs.  He always look dashing in his stylish outfits and awesome glasses!  As for Linda, no doubt the best dressed among the ladies.  While Linda often dresses in seemingly conservative gowns, they are appealing/revealing in a way since the fabric is see-through.  That's something I like about her 'revealing' dressing style.  Her hairstyle also fits perfectly with her look.  While I usually prefer her hair down, I really really like her hairstyle in here.

First thought, her hair is so 'big'.  Haha Michelle seems to like these kind of hairstyles?  Anyways, lovely dress and she was gorgeous in it  Man, she's so skinny though.

While I am surprise to see Myolie in a dress like this (dunno why but it doesn't seem like her style?), though I quite like the dress and its bead patterns.  It just looks a bit dull for some reason.  As for Kenneth, a clean nice suit.  Of course he looks good!

Such a bad choice of dress on Kate's behalf.  As for her hairstyle, I've never liked how she always slick it back.  Lam Fung is Lam Fung.  Looking nice in his suit.

Honestly, who dressed worse?  Christine Kuo or Bosco Wong?  To be honest, I shouldn't be shock since it's Bosco but man!  Could his style get any worse?  Shorts with pink high socks.  And that jacket!?  Really!?  Ugh....

As for Niki, I don't get why she like these kind of dresses.  She wore one like this at the last tvb anniversary too.  Man, I hate the way it droops in the front.

Poor Tavia, sharing the same picture with the two fashion disasters.  Thank goodness she looks gorgeous in her dress.  Only thing I didn't like is the extra fabric over her chest.  Honestly did not notice it until I magnified the picture cause it blended in with her skin.
