This is a Character review. The Final Review is gonna be up when I'm finish with all the characters ones xD I did this cause if I did them all together, it's gonna be a little too long.

To trust someone is much easier said than done. To Kam Ling, Lau Sam Ho is the only person she trusted. Like in the scene where she told Sam Ho......."No matter how bad or how mean I treat other people, I'll still be nice to you. It's because you are my only sister." But sadly in the end, it is still not the same. Tavia's trust for Charmaine faded when her greed came over her.

Tavia's greed is her what I thought to be her weakness and kindness was Charmaine's. Of course positive beats negative and that's why Charmaine won. Greed brought Tavia to the road where she never gets enough what she has and would always try to get more. Charmaine's kindness brought her onto another road where everybody loves her because of her kindness.

However, I honestly expected more from both Charmaine's and Tavia's character.

Tavia is evil, but somehow I think something is missing from it. I guess from all the praises I heard, it effected my expectations, making me anticipate much more and thought her character should be more 'evil.' Her plans are clever but like what Charmaine said, her heart is to dark to enters someone else. She pretends but that is not her real self. Pretending can only last for a little while but never forever.

Speak Good Words, Do Good Deeds and Show Goodwill
Charmaine character was good. She shows good will in everything she does but that's also the weakness of her character. The series started out with mainly her scenes but then her scenes got boring toward the middle and got lesser. I guess I wanted to see more of her character development.

The major development only appeared near the end. That's the part where she stood up against Lee Kwok Lun. That was actually my favorite scene of hers. It shows that beside kindness, she can be 'strong' when the time calls for it. That was what I wanted to see in the middle part but all tvb shows was how she was kind making everything so plain when they could of been more interesting.


Tavia's Glare

The scene where I thought her glare was the most effective was the part where she killed the Empress. The 4th pic there is my fav 'look' of hers. The way she smiled makes you think how evil she is, but the make-up of the dark eyeliner and dark/bright lips makes her looks beautiful. Makes me think of a rose. It is truly beautiful but is also consider 'dangerous' with the pricks (I have no idea what it's called).

I found it scary how she walked up behind Charmaine's back in the 2nd last pic. I thought that she was actually gonna kill Charmaine but then she only framed her for killing the Empress. I really like the parts where Charmaine cries for some reason. I think she can really control her tears very well.

The part where Tavia killed General Ma was unexpected. As a powerful general he was still killed by a lady he looked down on. Never make a woman mad, that's my advice to General Ma xD This scene really reminds me of the scene where Susan Tse died.


I really love her ending with the 2 little girls walking in which represented 'little' Kam Ling and Sam Ho. Tavia looked so sweet and innocent. From some spoilers I came across, I heard that Tavia turned crazy and she did. Haha, before 'seeing' it though, I imagined Tavia locked up in this dark cellar with messy hair and likes to scream :P Lols, I was surprise to see her in this scene. My thinking of 'crazy' is so different from what I saw xD

Another thing that surprised me was how she called herself Sam Ho. Again, my predictions was her thinking how to kill/take revenge on Sam Ho or of her son. haha, I have really bad predictions :P Of course I like this ending much better then the ending I 'thought' it would be. It shows the innocent side of Tavia again and making this one of my fav. scene.



Haha, I imagined her child to be younger. By the look of it, it seems like she is separated from Kevin for 10 years!! That is a long time. I was so happy that Kevin returned xD and how happy Charmaine looks! I was a bit surprise that he walked right pass her though!! I was thinking to Kevin..."Why did you walk by her!!??! She's right there!?!?"

It was sad to see the reaction on Charmaine' face when he walked right by!! Haha, I like how she talked about them with the flashbacks and stuff. I wouldn't like it at all if she just grab him and ask him if he remember her or not. This is a more 'relaxing' ending o.O

In this scene, a rabbit was stuck in this stone that was build as a memorial for something. Basically saying, that stone is very important. Selena insisted to Charmaine to break the stone to rescue the rabbit. Charmaine knew how important the stone was and told her they can't.

You can still see that Selena is quite childish in here. She doesn't know what the result of her actions could cause. At the same time though, you can see her kind side. I just don't like how she just wouldn't be kind to Tavia :(



In the previous Beyond post, I mentioned about Tavia's miscarriage. She got the miscarriage because she tripped over a painting. She then 'thought' and 'framed' Selena's mom. Selena's mom was then executed :(

I feel so sorry for Selena. When all that happened, her father and godfather wasn't even there and she was all alone trying to beg Moses to not kill her mom. She kept on pleading Moses but he wouldn't even see her! She banged her head onto the ground repeatedly and that's why you could see her forehead covered with blood.

By the time her mom was about to be executed, it was to late for Selena to help her. She ran and ran but then trip and her mother was killed.

I can't believe how fast time goes! Technically this isn't the 'end' of the year yet, but still it is since the TVB awards are over.


TVB Horizon's Hits!!!!!!

On December 10th TVB Horizon had reached 12 683!! I kinda missed the 10 000 but Thanks so much for all the hits guys xD I really appreciate for all the visits. Hope you guys will continue to come and support TVB Horizon!

Hm, I think this year is ok but the surprise of EU and RB with Beyond made it became a good one xD I never expected EU to be good but it proved me wrong. RB...haha, I only anticipated for Wayne and never thought it to be such a great one! Beyond is kinda obvious so I won't comment xD

Other surprises also include A Great Way to Care and DIE Again. First of all, if you look at Great Way's poster you'd think it will be a really boring series like I did. But if you give it a try, it will become a pretty good one. I truly enjoyed it with the scenes between Raymond and Vivien and all the interesting cases.

DIE Again. To tell you guys something, when the prequel of it came out (DIE), I did not watch it until my sister made me. I didn't thought it would be interesting and that's also the same thing I did to the sequel, DIE Again. After reading reviews from others though, I changed my opinion and began to watch it. It was a great series with great comedy!

Haha, I haven't mentioned YH yet?? To me the series with Dayo in it is perfect xD Not to mention the lovely pairing between him and Charmaine! The story mostly revolves around them and not too much about other characters but they were just so cute together to complain xD Haha, great comedy between these two xD

Burning Flames 3 had a pretty good start but it drags on and on in the middle :/ The only thing I like are the fire scenes xD

I can't really remember much from Sweetness in the Salt :( Only the part where Raymond died!!

Man in Charge and Greatness of the Hero is consider ok. I'd say I like the Greatness of the Hero more though. The most touching scene to see in there was when Sonija got executed. Technically, she chose to die in order for Lee Heung Kam and Bernice Liu to live. It was so sad when she started to recite the poem of hers and Kent. I also like Bernice and Sunny cause I think they were cute together but Sunny's death was so...argh!!! They could could've made a better death!!!

Tavia got pregnant!!!! I was so happy when they said she had a baby! At first, everybody thought that Selena was the one with the baby but then it turned out Tavia was! You could see how upset Selena. Selena's mom was the most upset though! I find Selena to be very kind because when her mom wanted to [insert spoiler here], she said it was still the king's son and she doesn't want hurt it. I found her to be very sweet at that moment.




I can't believe in one episode, she got pregnant but also got a miscarriage!! I felt so sad for her but she was really calm and planned up something (post later). She actually tripped by herself but then she 'blamed' it on someone else and think it was that person's fault for her miscarriage! The look that she gave when she wanted the revenge is scary. It tells you that she will do ANYTHING to get what she wants. Tavia looked so scary in one of her glares!! I can't wait to see how scary she gets toward the end!

I am sad to say, in ep. 19 is the episode where The Chief Bureau will leave the palace *sigh*

Michelle's and Susanna's Quarrel ----> The Chief Bureau Set Up Do you know why Susanna and Michelle always fight with each other?? It started when the palace allowed the leave of specific maids from the palace. Susanna was first selected to leave the palace but then after eating some peanuts (she's allergic to them), she got a rash and was disqualified!! Michelle was selected to replace Susanna but then she was framed for (something I can't remember) and was also disqualified!!!

Michelle thought that Susanna set her up! And Susanna also thought that Michelle set her up!! That's how their friendship ended! Yup! That was the end :(

Back to the set-ups. The Chief Bureau was actually the ONE who set both of them up!!!!! She wanted them to stay to help her out and that's what she did to make them stay. When they found out, of course they (Susanna&Michelle) were furious! They went and report it to the empress and not allow the Chief Bureau to leave the palace!

After, they found out that she had lung disease and wouldn't live long. Charmaine then pleaded to the empress to let The Chief Bureau to leave cause she's gonna die soon. The Empress then granted but she (the Chief Bureau) was not allowed to take any money, jewelery etc. with her :/

Ep. 15 is where Selena finally enters!!!!!! I've been waiting so long to see her^^ but she is nothing like I imagined (her character). Somehow, I imagined her to be this really nice and sweet girl who isn't super SPOILED!! Lols, I was totally wrong there :P

Her character isn't what I call 'evil' but just really, really spoiled and thinks highly of herself. When she first appeared, she seems so sweet ^-^ but when she knows the emperor (Moses) wants a maid (Tavia) as his concubine..........BAM!!! She turns a little off track. She thinks that she's much worthier then Tavia! Haha, that's what spoiled mean xD

Then on the first day of being concubines, she SLAPPED Tavia! (ep.16) I was so angry at her but Tavia is so smart though to not start a fight xD

Even though her character isn't the nicest around, I LOVE her scenes!!!! Haha, I'm so glad Selena played this character xD Her scenes with Tavia just brings so much action to the series xD


Remember the slap Selena gave Tavia in ep.16!! Tavia returned that twice in ep.17!

At first though, Tavia was really nice and everything! She sewed Selena a phoenix handkerchief and pointed out mistakes to the painter for their paintings, but then Selena started insulting everything she did! You could see the anger starting to build up in Tavia and that's when she turned around and SLAP Selena!

Later when the Empress (Mary Hon) and the Emperor (Moses) came, Tavia framed Selena for slapping her instead!!! That's when you can see how clever Tavia is! She did all those nice things before (painting, handkerchief etc) and 'used' it in her plan, to make everybody thinks she's innocent!

I decided to redraw Tavia and also drew the others too xD It took me abit of time to do all their hair and somehow Tavia's seem to be the hardest! When I first looked at the 'official' pictures to draw them, I thought that Charmaine's was gonna be the hardest but that was not true!

Charmaine looks like she has more detail on it but it was the easiest to draw o.O That was jsut weird to me.




Haha, this isn't part of Beyond but when I saw the pic of them hiding behind the scripts, I just thought is was so cute. Even though not officially a fan of them yet, I can't wait to see their pairing! Haha, I'm kinda weird right?

Tavia got rashes on her face from using this make-up. In the make-up there was this kind of poison which June puts in. At first Tavia knew about it and forgave June, but she actually put it on to 'frame' June. June got kicked out of the bureau and became a servant maid.


After June got kicked out, Tavia thought she'd be promoted to the position of deputy head. Unfortunately, it didn't go as she planned. Charmaine was appointed be the empress to switch from the Embroidery to the Jewelery Bureau and take the position as deputy head.


Mandy Cho was just a concubine who had never met the emperor before, but Charmaine helped her maid this hairpin. This hairpin could glow in the dark and is called "The Firefly Dancing". When Mandy put it on, she was discovered by the king and got his favor. Sadly not so long after being favored, she was killed.


As stuff in the palace got more complicated, Moses and his mom pretended to have the chicken pox and used it as an excuse to leave the palace.

FINALLY!!! NEW BANNER xD Haha, even though I still like the old one better :/ It had been up way too long, so here's a new one xD It is featuring TVB's 42nd anniversary xD Basically, just the series I enjoyed this year......beside Born Rich (haven't watched it yet)

The series are EU, Rosy Business, You're Hired, Beyond the Realm of Conscience and Born Rich. This year I was much more picky what to watch and my patient was quite low to finish a series.

EU had it's suspenses with the undercovers. I remember really enjoying this series and would watch it right after I get home xD I thought new cast, Elanne Kong was really cute with Ron xD I love all their scenes together xD I could also see Ron's improvement, like the scene where he cried at Michael's death xD haha, this series also shot Michael's (Tse) fame up, which he really deserve throughout all these years xD

Rosy Business was a great series!! At the end of the episode there's always some kind of cliff hanger that makes you want to watch it xD There were many great scenes that I had always remembered. 1 was the one that Wayne stood up for Sheren when everybody tried to take the keys, 2nd was where Sheren read her Husband's will out *claps* and also many others xD Another thing that I really like about this series was the ending. The ending wasn't exactly 'happy' or sad but just in between, which makes it better^^ Tvb would usually happy endings nowadays. As much as I like 'happy' things, too happy is just..........argh.

You're Hired.
After the 2 dramatic-ish series, there comes the comedy!!! Since the day I knew Dayo was in this series, I've always antcipated for it to come out. No doubt that it didn't dissapoint me xD I really enjoyed this series with a refreshing couple between Dayo and Charmaine. Their scenes together were sweet and special xD Haha, one word to describe it...ADORABLE xD But then I thought that the ending was kinda...rush?? I wish that tvb didn't cut out the other episodes (argh)! Anyway, a great comedy with Dayo and Charmaine. (haha, I always like 'fighting' couples for some reason xD Guess it's fun to see their reactions when they suddenly fall in love :P )

Beyond the Realm of Conscience
Hmmm....*cough*...technically....I'm not finish with the series yet, but so far it's just great xD

Born Rich
Ahem.....*cough*......well *cough*.....I didn't exactly....'start' this series....... Just think it's gonna turn out good xD But of course my thinking has 'evidence' ----> the themesong was great *thumbs up* xD

Started of where Susanna and Michelle are framed as being loan sharks and throwned into jail. They were torture by the empress's maid. Luckily the Chief of the Bureau came in and stopped her.


The Chief of the Bureau went to see the empress to stop the 'maid' from torturing Michelle and Suasanna. Sadly, she was set up and was also sent to the jail. Michelle got really weak after the tortures and fainted. This was the time where Michelle's and Susanna's friendship started to mend.


The 'maid' was about to sew Tavia's mouth, but there came Moses!!! He used his 'intelligent' xD and backfired the maid. He told her that her mouth should be sewn instead since she was the one who talked the most.

*This was the best part ever xD I'm so glad that Moses was able to rescue Tavia or else her mouth would be...*shivers* Haha, it's so funny how Moses chased the 'maid' around trying to sew her mouth xD


All the other maids of the bureau all kneeled outside of the empress's chamber awaiting for her forgiveness. The empress of course was 'firm' with her punishments and told them she would never change her mind. As she threw the account book down (this is the evidence that framed Michelle and Susanna), Charmaine notices a mark on it. She sets of with Tavia to find evidence to rescue Michelle, Susanna and the Chief Bureau.


At last, they found the evidence and the 'maid' was actually the loan shark. Everybody was freed and they all walked out of the jail.


All the Bureaus were united again and at the end of the episode, they all walked away from the empress's chamber.

Thoughts: I LOVED this episode xD Haha, best episode I've seen so far. The thing that I liked about it was because of the way they showed the sisterhoods. I always thought the 4 bureaus chief hated each other :/ But was kinda wrong when I saw this episode. They aren't actually bad and they stood up with each other in order to rescue each other. It really showed how the 'whole' bureau was a family. It was just because of survival that they needed to fight.

Sadly this 'sister' thing all faded after this ep. :/ I'm currently on half of ep.10 right now xD Took me 5 hrs to watch then take screencaps :P Other eps coming later ^-^

Hey guys! Haven't been posting for 2 days? Ugh, lately our english teacher decided to do a scary story contest. I still haven't finish it cause I absolutely have no ideas. Sad how a contest is mandatory T.T

Haha, back to the happy things xD I just started Beyond the Realm of Conscience!!!!!!!!!!! Whoo!!!! Haha, it's really great, but I'm watching it really slowly.....since it seems forever for the subs to come out :/ And.....the website where I usually watch from is....GONE? I'm not so sure....I think the forum still exsist, but I just can't seem to find it!!! If anyone knows anything, the site is called 'PhimWorld'.

*sigh* Anyway, I'm gonna be telling you guys a bit of Beyond xD So.............SPOILERS!!!! Please don't read if you haven't seen it. I'll try to not spoil too much though, just my thoughts?



First of..........the story is mainly focusing on Charmaine so not too much Tavia :/ But at least I really like there sisterhood ;) It's sad how they're gonna become enemies later on :(



Charmaine also met Kevin and Moses. Not too much of Charvin so far, but I think that the story between Charmaine and Moses is quite sweet. I feel really sorry for Moses though. Seperate from his mother since young and have to pretend.......



Surprisingly, the story that I'm most interested in right now is the story behind Susanna and Michelle. They would show-off in front of each other, and there seems to be a problem between the 2 of them. I'm guessing that they were sisters before (like Tavia and CHarmaine) but something happened (?) I really wanna know what happened between the 2.


P.S. I'm not sure if I'm able to get the pics done by the end of the week, but I'll try. Hopefully though.
