TVB "takes care" of their artistes by opening doors to the movie industry

After "Laughing Gor Turning Point", the Shaw Brothers will be starting a New Years film "The 72 Tenants" (七十二家租客). Besides inviting foreign popular movie stars to participate in this new film, TVB artistes of course "took care" of their own "kids" (artistes) that are under TVB management. Several TVB artistes will also take part in this new film.

The producer for "The 72 Tenants" Virgina Lok revealed that TVB has arranged "Chai Gau" who recently became very popular, "Long Leg Crab" Koni Lui, Myolie Wu, Bosco Wong, Shirley Yeung and Kenneth Ma to make an appearance. As for their roles, Virgina strongly stressed that it's not going to be minor roles. She said: "How much salary they will get will depend on how much screen time they have, but money is not the point. If they have less screen time, then we'll still give them a big red envelope. (How is the screen time divided?) Everyone will have scenes, there's room for development, it's not minor roles because we want to give them an opportunity, let them do a new attempt for their roles on their own."

Linda Chung goes out directing wind and rain in

Linda Chung was at the Metro City Radio yesterday, promoting her new album which is due for release on 12th November.

Linda and Moses Chan just came back from Australia for a TVB activity. That night Hong Kong had typhoon signal No.8 warning, and Linda revealed that the flight was very unstable before landing in Hong Kong. Fortunately, the captain was very skillful, he flew up again till the turbulence was stabilized and landed on the runway safely. Linda disclosed that was the third time when there was typhoon while she was on board in an airplane. When she was going home in a car, she had a fright too. Something suddenly hit the windscreen, luckily the windscreen didn't break.

Linda expressed that when she was in Australia with Moses, he took her around to taste a lot of local cuisine as well as being her tour guide. Linda felt the scenery in Australia is so beautiful that she hopes she will go back there again for holiday. The reporter reminded her that she is busy promoting her new record, she wouldn't have time to go on holiday. Linda said "If I don't have TV series to do, it doesn't matter whether I am on holiday or not."

Linda revealed that she is producing a photo album for her fans to stick photographs in. In her new album, she won't use sex appeal. The reporter said she won't be able to compete with those "models" then. Linda smiled and said "I don't have to show too much of myself for people to look at. I can be sexy in secret, but I feel there is no need to compete. I just want to be myself." Linda also reckoned the "models" are only hot for a while, they won't last long. She hopes people can see how hard she works and doesn't want people to only notice her figure.

Happy to see Linda had fun in Australia and so nice of Moses to show her around too xD I also wish to go to Australia one day!!! Haha, I always wanted to travel when I grow up xD but then I guess it's kinda hard to find a job that just travels^^

Jessica Hsuan food poisoned right before returning to HK from Ethiopia

Earlier there was bad news that Jessica Hsuan injured her foot in Ethiopia, then when she went to Kenya for the shooting of TVB Anniversary special (活著), she unfortunately got "poisoned". Just returned to Hong Kong, yesterday Jessica was in Tseung Kwan O TV City for an interview and expressed: "Before I left Kenya, I ate some weird tasting chicken, my stomach started hurting later and I threw up. When I was at the Ethiopia International Airport, I had stomach cramps and it hurt so much that I was crying at the airport. Once I came back to Hong Kong, I immediately went to the hospital and stayed for a night. The doctor said I got food poisoning."

Thoughts: Aw, poor Jessica, hope she's better now. I'm wondering when 'A Pillow Case of Mystery 2' is gonna release. I honestly miss seeing Bobby T_T Now that I noticed it, his last series was aired around a year ago!!!!!

oh, kinda went of topic there...anyway, I'm also wondering what scenes they were shooting in Kenya. After seeing 'The Last Breakthrough' and seeing the beautiful landscape filmed in africa, I really wish that one day TVB can do it again. Hehe, but then this is just a short shooting I guess....

haha, finally finished them today xD I have a habit of leaving things untill the last moment to...but will always finish them on time though, like my pile of homework, which is still sitting next to my computer right now =.= (have to finish it tonight...) Haha, I'm really easily distracted....and my current distraction right now is youtube -----> GEM's mv.....and what my mom's cooking for dinner xD ...lols....

Ok, enough about my laziness, and back to the drawings^^

"For Fala's though, I had no idea what to draw about her at first but then I thought of her sibilings. Mainly, Moses (Ka) ate a part of the mooncake(I know, it doesn't look like a mooncake, espeacially with the english words..lols.) and the part he ate was Fala's name."

"Myolie's was just a simple pic. with lanterns in the background, and her eyes shining brightly when seeing them. I know her costume look......well, the pieces might look a little bit alike, but my coloring skill isn't that great :( "

"Ok, the couples one are a little bit better, but not too much ideas in these ones either."

"I have to say, I thought Tavia's and Steven's costume were the hardest to draw, but to my surprise, they turned out the best. After this, I think I prefer more detailed clothings (not saying the patterns on the fabric thought). The more detail, the more they will look alike, since the faces I draw are all alike, but the clothings will totally change them^^ "

"Raymond is basically having his hand around Selena's shoulder and Selena being kind of pissed xD haha, just decided to have Raymond do the finger thing...and just added the speech bubble at the end to make it look less plain^^ "

Troubles: The problem I had while drawing these were lack of ideas, but majorly looking for the costume. It's so hard to look for the whole costume that they were wearing in the series. Most I found were just half, but because I wanted to draw the whole body, I had no choice but keep on searching around. Oh, and thanks to Jessica for the full costume of Myolie too^^

There's something wrong with me T_T

Today, I got the inspiration of searching for wedding photos, which made me thought of something.......

The banner down there (Linda and Ron) was the first banner that TVB Horizon had. I really love the pics. of Ron and Linda there xD They look so cute together!!!!!!!! *sigh* I thought that I would never, ever....delete their original pics..which were used ta make this banner, but guess what?? I DID!!!!??!! I can't believe that I DELETED those pics!!! *emotional breakdown* *tears* ....I remember it was so hard to find those pics.....and I don't rememeber where I found them either....*sniff, sniff*

Does anybody know where I can find them again?? I tried to look again, but sadly with no luck T_T

Well, that was the reason that I think there's something wrong with me.......*sigh* Anyway, while I was looking for wedding photos, I saw lots.......but these 2 couples are my favs^^

Hmm...I guess the reason these 2 are my favs because.....well, they just totally look cute together xD haha, even though some others are cute too, I guess they were just missing the *couple feeling* ....argh, I don't know how to explain it....but........ugh, nevermind, it's just gonna get more complicated if I try to explain it :( There's always something wrong with my head......

Linda and Ron just look really sweet together xD They've never paired up before, but they look so compatible in here^^

Myolie and Bosco is the other pair xD I love their photo so muchxD Looking at it make me go "awwwwwwww.." Haha, they look so cute together!!!!!

Haha, I wish other TVB stars would have wedding promotions likes these too xD It would be so great if that happened!!!!!!!!!

P.S. I thought that Charmaine and Chiliam's pics were really cute too...but then I was lazy, that's why they aren't up here.....

Ok, gonna be posting the pics. in the weekend^^ I thought I was gonna post them sooner though, but then I decided I'm gonna outiline and color them in xD Haha, I think it would be better colored in...let's just hope I don't mess up while outlining though....

Beside the fact that today is my first day of school, which only lasted for 1h15mins, it is also a very special day^^

By special, I meant today is NANCY's WU B-DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Haha, that's why there's the new banner of her xD I'm glad that I even finished this, since I just remembered yesterday^^

Wish Nancy the best of luck, hope her acting career's gonna shine brighter and brighter each year and happiness will always be with her xD

For the last 3 days, have been quite busy.

day1 - Shopping for school supplies, was so hot outside @.@
day2 - My mom decided to take care of my cousins while my aunt worked, and this was the day that they first came.
day3 - 8am till 4:30, helped take care of my cousins and after they left, I got a massive headache.
Today - Last day that my cousins coming^^ Well...for the week anyway...*sigh*

-Hmmm...currently watching DIE Again and You're Hired, but I don't know if I'm gonna continue DIE Again though. (Don't know why, my interest in finishing a series is going down.)

I always wanted to watched this movie when it first came out, but didn't watched until only a few days ago @_@ Haha, a bit late, but it's better than never xD

Basically, Jackie, Louis, and Michael is a gang of professional burglars who went and kidnapped a baby from a really wealthy family for a triad leader. Unfortunately, when they were on their way to hand over the baby, they drived off a slope and Micahel got captured by the cops. Since Michael is their 'boss' aka the mastermind of the gang, they have to take care of the baby until he's out (1-2 weeks since he was only charged with dangerous driving). While they took take of the baby though, they developed a really strong bond with him, which led them to make a choice between 30million dollars or protect the baby.

Thongs: 'An addicted gambler. Fought with his family.'
Octopus: 'Womanizer who neglects his pregnant wife, played by Charlene Choi.'
Landlord: 'The brain of the gang. Have a mentaly illed wife.'

I really enjoyed this movie, espeacially the parts where they were taking care of the baby xD They were hilarious at those moments xD And the fighting scenes were great too!!!

"Ok, in this one, they were trying to make the baby to stop crying. 1)Jackie used 2 pillows to block the baby's mouth!!! You could see the baby's hat there xD. 2)They got the baby to stop cring by singing and dancing..haha, they were singing a bunch of random things xD 3)Louis brought out a chicken and candles sticks as an offering to stop the baby from crying xD (haha, i love that part xD , they even tried to feed him the chicken..LOL..)"

Military Governor CHOI NGOK (Damian Lau) has been attempting to overthrow the Yuen Sai Hoi government. To facilitate his plan to stage an uprising in Yunnan, he pretends to be fooling around with the highly sought-after courtesan CHEUNG FUNG WAN (Kathy Chow Hoi Mei), nicknamed SIU FUNG SIN, to avoid detection. YUEN SAI HOI (Law Lok Lam), who is suspicious of NGOK, sends the Chief of Staff MOK YIK TIN (Dominic Lam) to spy on him. Later he even lures NGOK's wife PAK SZ TING (Krystal Tin) to Beijing, hoping that this will force NGOK to pledge his loyalty to the government. To ensure the success of the revolutionary movement, NGOK carries on with his affair with WAN as a camouflage, without realizing that she has seriously fallen in love with him. WAN is ready to give up everything just to be with NGOK while NGOK remains cold and distant towards her. Soldier YUE YAM KWOK (Kenneth Ma) is also in love with WAN and would like to get her out of her predicament. Sadly WAN turns him down, for her love for NGOK is so much stronger than one can ever imagine.

Thoughts: Ok....Kenneth is gonna like Kathy?? That's really weird @__@ But I guess the story seems abit interesting. Probably gonna watch it, let's just hope it's good.
