Summary
Tavia and Steven grew up together and see each other as best friends. Whenever Tavia broke up with her boyfriend, Steven would be the one there to comfort her. Steven has a crush on Tavia but he was too afraid to tell her because of their friendship. Sadly when he got the courage to tell her, she already began dating Michael.

Later, Tavia found out that Steven liked her and told Michael about it. She also asked him if they can have a little time apart for her to think about choosing him or Steven. Eventually, Michael got mad at her for always helping Steven and they broke up. Michael's career began going downhill and along with everything else.

Tavia and Steven tried the best they could to help Michael stand up again but he was too stubborn to accept their help. After an accident, all 3 of them became friends again. Tavia is now back in the middle.....and the 2 guys beside her. So who does she choose? o.O

I think fate uncontrollable but it is destiny that is within our hands.


In Cupid Stupid, Tavia's fate led her to meet Michael but should she think that her destiny was to be with him?
Definitely a no! Your destiny should be in your own hands. Fate is what I think to be that can't be controlled but it's to one will to control their destiny. When Tavia hugged Michael, she wasn't happy. She just simply said, "Fate wants me to pick you." Her character is way to weak, she didn't want to hurt either Steven or Michael so she decided to let her fate choose for her. That wasn't a wise choice because she got hurt, and both of the other guy also got hurt along with that.


There was one scene where Tavia was dragged away from Steven by Michael. She argued with Michael and even jumped out of the boat they were in! She told him that nobody could force her to do anything she didn't want to do and swam back to Steven :) At that moment, I thought that her character would become stronger. I was hoping that she would reject Michael and choose Steven but in the end, her character still couldn't make a choice.



Steven was trying to find Tavia at Disneyland. First time he called out to her (scene above) but she couldn't hear him and he ended up losing her. Then the second time was during the night. At that moment he also saw Michael. Instead of calling out to her, he helped Michael to find her.

All is Fair in Love and War
Why did Steven had to let Tavia go? It's because he 'thought' that she still loves Michael and she'll be happier with him. That reason have a chance of 50% to be true but the other 50% to be false. I think that Steven thinks way to much, if he loved Tavia he should of just chased after her. All is fair in love and war. He should of given himself a chance.

More like a Friend....
I don't know if it was because of my complete bias with Stevia or not, but I couldn't feel anything between Tavia and Michael. They received the same horoscope fortunes....she goes into his company to work....and they started dating. Their relationship didn't make me feel anything beside the fact that they are friends. After they got into a fight....Tavia tried to help him to get his inspirations back. Within those moments, I thought Tavia did that because she felt like she owned him. Liking him? I didn't think so....

An MV
I enjoyed the scenes with Stevia together and decided to do an mv for them^^ This time around, I didn't use a chinese song cause it takes too long. I usually have to look up what the lyrics mean in english and didn't want to. Haha, I wasn't sure to use what song....since I don't listen to english songs that often^^ But in the end decided on that song.


Final Thoughts
*sigh* All I have to say is that I hate tvb! Something that can really ruin a series is a bad ending. The ending is the last impression for the audience. When I first started out the series, I found it enjoyable! Sadly around episode 4, I saw the spoiler of the tragic ending. Stevia had always have bad endings but when I first start this, I thought that they would end up together! So since ep.4 everything went downhill for me. I don't know if it's because of the spoiler that made the series bad to me or is it because the story was just bad.

After finishing the series, I still find no reason for Michael to be the one who end up with Tavia. Well, beside the 'fate' thing and the series focusing on horoscopes. For the first time....I want tvb to create an alternate ending. This ending just ruined the series for me :(

Beside the ending though, I also expected this series to be more interesting with the horoscopes theme. Sadly tvb failed to deliver those interests into the series.


Overall Votes

If I have to vote.....I'd say I think it's alright. I thought episode 1-3 was really enjoyable and I liked how it started out. Maybe because I knew how the ending was, it kinda effected me while watching the rest of the series.

Another mention is Kingdom Yuen, Ram Chiang and Lee Kwok Lun. Haha, I found it cute how Ram Chiang liked Kingdom xD I just love Ram Chiang more and more.

Shermon Tang- A new character is introduce in ep.2. Shermon Tang plays as Tavia's and Steven's friend. She had a crush on Steven since she was small.


Kingdom Yuen and Lee Kwok Lun plays as a divorce couple. They were divorced because Lee Kwok Lun was a gambler and he always played around with other women. Even though they were divorced, they still lived together in one apartment but with a screen/fence that seperates them apart.


An upcoming reunion party between Tavia and her classmates were coming up but sadly she didn't have a boyfriend to go with her. Tavia was worried about her old snobby classmate, Samantha who always made fun of her because she didn't have a boyfriend. At first, Shermon 'set up' a guy for Tavia but then it didn't happen. What is Tavia gonna do now??


Michael took things into his own hands and decided to help Steven.



Steven's transformation!!! Whoo! Haha, Tavia was so surprise to see Steven like this! He looked so cool when he walked out of the car xD The funniest part was when Tavia 'smelled' him and he didn't smell like fish :P Aw..so sweet!

Steven brought 'honor' to Tavia at the party! He also 'embarrassed' Samantha, who later left the party!


On the streets, Tavia and Steven bumped into Samantha and her new boyfriend. They continued to pretend like they're dating but then Tavia's dad appeared!! ...Let's just say that Tavia's dad doesn't like Steven....at all..

Episode 1 shows that Tavia and Steven are really close friends. Steven plays as Chi Yat Bo, a fishmonger in the marketplace. Tavia plays as Twinkle, a employee at the games center. They have quite a tight relationship with each other and Steven would be the one to cheer Tavia up whenever she's unhappy. Aw..I want them to be together so badly xD


Both strongly believes in horoscopes. Michael plays as Koon Sing Ho, a toy designer. On the same day, he and Tavia both got the horoscope that says 'You will come across the most important person in your life." At their first meeting at the games center, both of their horoscopes dropped onto the floor and they accidentally picked up each others horoscope with out noticing it wasn't theirs (cause they have the same fortune anyways..). The only differences was that Tavia drew a heart on hers while Michael didn't.

Their 'fate' probably started during the scene that they mistook their horoscope for the other. I personally believe in horoscopes too but I want Tavia to end up with Steven! Stevia are just way to cute with each other!!!! The theme song made me unhappy the way they showed Steven at the background with Tavia with Michael in the front :(


Jack Wu plays as Tavia's boyfriend. You could see that Tavia really likes him and didn't complain whenever he misses their date. Sadly Jack isn't the right guy for her.......or even anybody. Why? Well, it's because he's just a cheater who uses women to get money!! He two-timed Tavia with another girl! He also cheated Tavia into giving him money and asked her to buy 8 (I think) insurances!


This was so cute!!! After Tavia and Jack broke up because she saw him with another girl, she got really upset. Steven and Michael searched for her and saw her driving madly in a car. When she saw Steven, she ran to him and began crying. This scene was the sweetest scene ever!!


Jack lost his job (YAY!) thanks to our heroes Michael and Steven! Tavia was on her way to Steven's fish stall with Michael's robot toy when Jack appeared. He dared to confront Tavia about his job and even yelled at her! He chased her around the market but luckily there was Steven and Michael.


I was so, so happy with what Michael and Steven yelled at Jack! Jack was saying how he was right for dumping Tavia and continued to insult her. Then Steven steps in and said all these really sweet things about Tavia. He said how gifted she was, how many people would want her to be their girlfriend, how nice and kind she was and other stuff too. Of course Michael also got a say too! Michael said how Jack never deserved to be Tavia's boyfriend. Also about how he couldn't be compare to how good Steven was! This scene was so cute with Steven and Michael backing Tavia up!

Favorite Scene:
My favourite scene out of this episode are the ones that Tavia cried to Steven! Haha, I don't know why but I found Tavia's character so cute when she cried. Especially when she's with Steven too. She doesn't hide anything in when she's with him and would cry out all the way xD

I found it so funny when she cried and said how she doesn't have anyone to go with her to a party (cause of the break-up). When Steven said that he'll go with her, she said that she didn't want him cause he stinks! Haha, kinda mean to Steven but the way she said it was so funny and of course Steven didn't that too that to heart. He just replied that he'll take a bath :P

Other:
1) Michael's character in here somehow reminded me of his character in Vitues of Harmony. I think it's cause of the way they both collects those robots xD


2) Steven's and Tavia's outfit looks so matching in here!!!

Finally started on CS! From the poll, I could see that not too much people watched it yet. I found ep.1 to be quite cute and sweet^^ I'll be writing another individually post to explain about it later^^Right now I'm just looking forward to more horoscopes stuff xD

Haha, tomorrow's gonna be Steven's B-Day!!!! (Oct.26) He's one of my favourite actors in tvb xD I really can't wait for his new series (when is it realeasing!!!??!!!!) Legend of Pu Songling, A Watchdog Tale, The Stars of Love, and Transferred Connection Temptation. I also like his personality too^^ .....(no, I haven't met him :P) Haha, it's just from the articles I read about him and seeing his blog xD I just kinda sum up all those things and I just think he's a really kind person.




Legend Pu Songling - Out of all the series, I'm looking forward to this one the most xD Guess it's maybe cause of the cast?? Haha, I love both of Linda's and Fala's costume. I think Steven's singing the themesong for this xD I really can't wait to hear it!! I remember loving the themesong of A Journey Called Life, where he sang with Linda!!!

Haha, I'm really wondering who's he gonna end up with!!! There's gonna be a love triangle between him, Linda and Fala right?? He look so sweet with both of them (in the pics) and I love both of them too, so I don't really know who I want him with T.T (I know, I'm thinking abit far ahead..)



A Watchdog Tale - Argh!!! TVB postponed this series 2 times!!! I've seen the trailer in mandarin and I really can't wait for this series to air!!! Hehe, I only remember seeing Steven act as a bad-ish guy once in Better Halves. I can't wait for his role in this one xD



The Stars of Love - Ok, really anticipating for this one cause the story really interests me.....and....TAVIA!! Stevia didn't have a good ending in Land of Wealth and only an ok-ish one in Sweetness. Really hoping Stevia will get a better ending in here xD

There's was a clip on youtube where they saw Tavia and Steven filming in Disneyland! I can't wait to see that scene xD



Transferred Connection Temptation - Haha, Fala, Yoyo and Steven's gonna be having a love triangle in here! Hmm....even though I'm not excited for this series as much as the others, I'm looking forward to Fala's and Steven's pairing in here! I've seen some new article for their filming, and there's some really cute scenes between the 2 of them xD BTW, I LOVE Fala's hair xD
