Elaine Yiu looks gorgeous in her dress!!  I actually really love this style of dresses.

It's totally the dress.  Poor Christine.  That dress is a  fashion disaster.  There's too much layers and worst is the waist band being too high up.  It should've been lower to tighten up her waist.  While Christine may not be as small as the other artistes, she looked totally different a few days ago at a function.  So I think it's the dress issue.

Him Law looks dang handsome in the upper half!  Man, his pants is too glossy for my liking.  As for Mag Lam, nice dress design but the colours was a total disaster.  Made her look washed out.

Taking Him Law's other arm, Mandy Wong once again appeared in a lime green dress.  While I liked the other one I saw her in, this one was not to my liking.  Not that the dress looks bad because I actually really love the colour and design.  Problem is it doesn't match Mandy herself.  The colour is too 'youthful'/'happy' for Mandy, who I think would be better off with cooler colours.  Also cause the hair didn't really suit the atmosphere of the dress.  Man, I think the only style for short hair is slicking them back?  Cause it's usually like that isn't?

With such a handsome same and adorable dimples, Ronald Law only disadvantage is his height!  Can be problematic for his acting career, which saddens me.

Outfit wise, Ronald looked great!  Only thing I didn't really like though were his boots.  Dunno why but they looked too feminine for me :P  As for Grace Wong's, it seem quite casual for the occasion but she does look nice!

Corinna attended the event in rock star outfit.  While I do not fancy the vest she had on (don't like how broad it is), the rocker look suits her.

Who was the best COUPLE AND BEST DRESSED of the night!?!  Of course it was Linda Chung and Ruco Chan!  Just look at how their outfits match!

Truthfully, I think Ruco Chan's style is one of the best among the siu sangs.  He always look dashing in his stylish outfits and awesome glasses!  As for Linda, no doubt the best dressed among the ladies.  While Linda often dresses in seemingly conservative gowns, they are appealing/revealing in a way since the fabric is see-through.  That's something I like about her 'revealing' dressing style.  Her hairstyle also fits perfectly with her look.  While I usually prefer her hair down, I really really like her hairstyle in here.

First thought, her hair is so 'big'.  Haha Michelle seems to like these kind of hairstyles?  Anyways, lovely dress and she was gorgeous in it  Man, she's so skinny though.

While I am surprise to see Myolie in a dress like this (dunno why but it doesn't seem like her style?), though I quite like the dress and its bead patterns.  It just looks a bit dull for some reason.  As for Kenneth, a clean nice suit.  Of course he looks good!

Michael's suit was so glossy!

Such a bad choice of dress on Kate's behalf.  As for her hairstyle, I've never liked how she always slick it back.  Lam Fung is Lam Fung.  Looking nice in his suit.

Honestly, who dressed worse?  Christine Kuo or Bosco Wong?  To be honest, I shouldn't be shock since it's Bosco but man!  Could his style get any worse?  Shorts with pink high socks.  And that jacket!?  Really!?  Ugh....

As for Niki, I don't get why she like these kind of dresses.  She wore one like this at the last tvb anniversary too.  Man, I hate the way it droops in the front.

Poor Tavia, sharing the same picture with the two fashion disasters.  Thank goodness she looks gorgeous in her dress.  Only thing I didn't like is the extra fabric over her chest.  Honestly did not notice it until I magnified the picture cause it blended in with her skin.

Always and Ever - Amnesia

*flipsthetable* What is this?!

To start off, let's talk about how Circle/Justice Bao's (Bobby Au Yeung) spirit travelled to the pre-modern time and now takes on the identity of Wah Long Biu. Who is he? Well, he's a corrupted inspector who everyone fears. What's worse? He's the suspected mastermind behind Tin Chau Fung's (Esther Kwan) death. Why is that so important? Tin Chau Fung is the reincarnation of Hon Sheung Sheung and Phoenix. (So frustrating to decide which name to use when I write...)

Long story short, they resolved their misunderstandings and became 'friends'. At this moment Tin Chau Fung's husband returns but he didn't have long to live since he got a bullet in his head. Before he died, he told Chau Fung that her true destined lover is Long Biu, not him.

Fast forwarding to the scene that I want to talk about, Chau Fung's memories of her previous life as Sheung Sheung in the Sung period came back. Not only that, her memories of Phoenix and Circle also came back. To be honest I was a bit confuse since I don't really get how the memories of the 'future' can 'come back' to someone. I get it when she had dreams of it...but not so much during this part.

While the flashbacks were simple, I found this scene very touching. Especially seeing Esther's acting, the way she teared up made me tear up too.

So while I get all emotional and stuff, there was this 180 degrees turn into rage! Well, not exactly rage but I just wanted to flip the table OTL Seriously at the most critical and touching moment where you think Bobby will finally reunite with Esther, Long Biu fell and lost his memory! This stupid amnesia scenario!! *flips the table*

Happy 2013 Mid-Autumn!!

Since I was having a hard time trying to compose a post about mid-autumn, I decided to look back at my old posts. This is the time for some reflection work...haha

It feels really strange.  My writing have definitely changed and more so, I can tell that I really enjoyed blogging back then from reading them.  How in the world can I get that drive back? OTL

Anyways, happy mid-autumn everybody!!!  Pls enjoy gazing at the beautiful round moon! :)

---------------OLD post back in 2009, unedited------------------

Ok, I remember it was quite awhile ago (august) that I walked into a supermarket (T&T) and I saw the workers putting up many lanterns. At that time, I was really confused because I thought New Year wasn't coming until January!!!!! :galit: Haha, it was funny how stupid I felt when my mom told me it actually the Mid-Autumn Festivals. Yup! I mistook the Mid-Autumn Festival for New Year :sigh:

Anyway! I always thought that I'd do a special post for the holiday^^ Of course I couldn't know much since I don't actually know the DATE for it >< Until summer@Just TVB Artist told me it was on October 3rd!!! Why I like it???? Hmm....I dont' actually celebrate this holiday....well only a little I guess, since my mom always buy mooncakes, but then I don't like it :anongnangyari: Haha, I just like the designs on it xD It's so detailed^^ But besides the mooncakes.......the first thing that pops into my head are LANTERNS!!!!!
-------------------------------------

Lanterns
I remember the first time I began how beautiful the lanterns were was in Lost in the Chamber of Love starring Ron, Myolie, Michelle, and Kenneth. The scene that made the lanterns memorable was how Ron decorated the whole city/street with lanterns to stop Myolie from leaving. That part was soooo sweet xD

Haha, since then I've always love the lanterns^^ They reminds me of christmas lights too, but sometimes much more beautiful! When I was searching on google image for some pics, I saw lots of pics for the festival, and I really wish I could go to one, one day xD

Mooncake
History: During the Yuen Dynasty, China was ruled my the mongolians. The people of the previous dynasty (Sung) wanted a rebellion and during that time, the Mid-Autumn Festival was coming. They then decided to plan their rebellion by making these special cakes where they put messages of the attack inside. On that night, the rebellion was successful............so from that day on, mooncakes were traditional eaten during the festival.
As I've mentioned above, I'm not a big fan of mooncakes, but when I was searching for some pics........I found some pretty interesting designs for them xD Haha, my favourite one would be the Hello Kitty one, it just looks so cute xD

Beside finding the unknown designs for the mooncakes which I've never seen before in my life, I also found out something about Starbucks. In china, some Starbucks places makes their on mooncakes of the Mid-Autumn festival too!!!! See the designs on it, it says "Starbucks Coffee" ---->

Haha, now.....let's think of what's the first think that pops up into your head (about tvb) when it comes to mooncake................Hmm................MOONLIGHT RENOSANCE!!!!!!

I guess everybody knows about the most anticipated series back in 2008^^ This series has the mooncake theme, when it's prequel had the abalone theme. I like how they named the children as a word for the mid-autumn quote, it's quite meaningful. Suppose to be full of happiness, but of course didn't, but anyway...........I think in Moonlight, the Mid-Autumn Festival represents their family day and the mooncake is their symbol for happiness.
-------------------------------------
The Legend
Do you usually see a woman on the cover of when you buy mooncakes?? (think only some covers but not all^^) According to a legend, that lady is Chang'e. She's the wife of the man who shot down 9 out of 10 suns. (familiar??) She's actually a mortal, but after drinking an elixir, her body bacame lighter and lighter and she floated all the way to the moon. Since she drank the elixir, she was immortal and never died, but instead lives on the moon all alone for eternity.

(left:Chang'e right:Wayne Lai)
Hmmm.....I'm thinking this story's somehow familiar??? Hehe, it's because it was portrayed into a part of a tvb series before, Journey to the West 1/2. Remember Wayne Lai who portrayed the pig, he fell in love with one of the fairy in heaven, and that's why he was sent to earth. The person who he fell in love with is Chang'e. Of course the 'tvb' story wasn't the same as the legend (duh!) ....but still kept the part where her husband's the guy who shot down the 9 suns.

Final Words
Ok, wishes to all of you guys a happy Mid-Autumn festival!!! See ya! Hehe, gonna be at my friend's again tomorrow xD
Good Night^^
