The Top 10 Most Anticipated TVB Series of 2011

Following last year's Can't Buy Me Love and No Regrets being the hottest series of the city, this year TV King Wayne Lai and TV Queen super candidate Maggie Cheung got the essential attention. The other TV Queen Charmaine Sheh encounters the most difficult role to portray of her life, the female version of Ah Wong in Flower Sister Flower World paired with Raymond Lam for a 'sister-brother love'. For publicity, there are Johnson Lee, Louis Yuen and Wong Cho Lam's comedy series version of Fun With Liza and Gods.

FLOWER SISTER FLOWER WORLD (花花世界花家姐): Female Version Ah Wong
Producer: Kwan Wing Chung
Starring: Charmaine Sheh, Raymond Lam
Broadcast Period: Last half of the year

Charmaine plays Fa Lai Chu, a girl with a mental age of 10. As Charmaine mentioned, this is her most challenging role. In the series, she goes into Raymond's company to be an office assistant, but for his own pleasures Raymond pretends to pursue her. Later, Raymond loses everything and his company gets taken over. Although Charmaine knows she was used by him, she still offered her place for him to stay in. Under Charmaine's care, Raymond starts over and discovers he actually did fall for Charmaine. The story is old-fashioned, but just watching how TV Queen Charmaine develops this role, is already enough to anticipate.

Thoughts: Haha, I am really looking forward to this series! The story sounds cute...but thinking that Raymond is pursueing Charmaine who have a mental age of 10 is a bit weird -.- Either way, I think they are going to make a good couple. Already trying to imagine Raymond in his role! Lols, good to see him back in some cute roles =)

If you haven't seen it yet, from Forever Charvin, here's the link to some pictures of the series!http://hi.baidu.com/yuki2010/blog/item/176c5b0faca232feaa645755.html Pics credits to Yuki =) Lols, Raymond in the tiger suit is......speechless xP

He was sent out by the Yongle Emperor (Joe Ma), to be by the Ming Emperor's side to solve cases, but in fact his real identity is the Yongle Emperor's undercover to fight the Ming Emperor.

YES SIR, NO SIR (點解阿Sir係阿Sir): Hilarious Moses Chan

Moses Chan's hilarious kung fu develops vividly. He left deep impressions on viewers' hearts for his comedic roles. In the series, Moses plays a police officer, but because he was investigating a case involving a school teacher, he went into the school to be an undercover. This series slightly resembles Stephen Chow's film Fight Back to School, just that this time Moses is an officer and a funny one too.

Thoughts: One main reason I'm really looking forward to this is the casts!! Have never love a cast so much!! xD

FORENSIC HEROES III (法證先鋒 lll): Hot Man Cracks Cases

The original FH received good public praises and high TV ratings. Initially FH3 was tailored for Wayne and Charmaine, but because Charmaine accidentally injured herself, Maggie Cheung replaced her. Before when Wayne played Chai Gau and Lau Sing, he did not care about his physical appearance, but for FH3, he is a handsome forensic scientist that cracks cases. Working alongside the coroner Maggie Cheung on the cases, love sparks between them.

Last year Fun With Liza and Gods popularity skyrocketed. The TV series version sets in the 60s where Liza operates a private investigation firm. She invited the FLS (Fuk Luk Sau) to help her on solving the cases and drop laugh bombs. Added to the cast are Wong Cho Lam's girlfriend Leanne Li, Johnson's girlfriend Egg Roll (Bobo Wong) and Louis' "long last sister" Michelle Lo.

THE WAR AT HEART (心戰) (Tentative): Complicated Suspense.
Producer: Chik Kei Yi

Adam and Moses are two Siu Sangs from different generations that collaborate for the first time. Naturally this will get attention. In the series, Adam plays an acting master, Moses is a magician serial killer. It's battle of wits for the two in the series. The story is about the police borrowing Adam's acting theory to investigate a case involving a serial killer. However, in the process of the investigation, Adam suddenly discovers that his daughter kidnapped 25 years ago is still alive. This unfolds an even bigger plot, the story is totally suspenseful and complicated.

Thoughts: Main attraction is Moses character!! I'm happy he's getting such a refreshing character, as I was getting a bit annoyed on how many comedic roles he keep on having.

LAUGHING GOR: Undercover Comes Back to Life
Producer: Chong Wai Kin
Starring: Michael Tse, Fala Chen, Damien Lau
Broadcast Period: October or November

The series is not a sequel to E.U or Laughing Gor Turning Point. It is actually a completely new story about Laughing Gor coming back to life from being an undercover (he faked his death). He is arranged to be a CIB instructor. His girlfriend, Fala Chen, who appeared in the film version also comes back to life. Fala is a new character who looks exactly like Laughing Gor's late girlfriend, so he gave her special attention and because of that a new love story starts.
