Stephen Au to get remarried with ex-wife

Stephen Au (歐錦棠) will be getting remarried with his former wife, Man Si Man (萬斯敏), on March 25, 2012. The pair experienced marital differences earlier and were separated for three and a half years.

Earlier, Stephen revealed that he received the sponsoship of British royal family photography studio, Venture Studio, in shooting his wedding photographs. The owner of the photography studio shot a “family photo” of Stephen, his wife, and their cat together.

Stephen commented on his reunification with his former wife, “Si Man and I were married for 15 years. We were separated for several years; fortunately we are able to get back together again. I became a Christian; thus our wedding will be held at a church. At our upcoming wedding, we will be holding a party and a dinner celebration with our families.”

In addition, Stephen’s old friend, Annie Man (文頌嫻), will bet getting married with her boyfriend, Jason, on March 2, 2012, throwing a 50-table wedding banquet. Annie will be inviting Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) to act as one of her bridesmaids.

Annie Man to Get Married in March 2012!

In 2008, Annie Man (文頌嫻) was photographed by the paparazzi passionately kissing a man named Jason in a car. Last Thursday, Annie and Jason were spotted on Thursday trying out wedding dresses in the Tsim Sha Tsui district. The couple will be getting married on March 2, 2011 at the Four Seasons Hotel!

Thirty-five-year-old Annie Man possessed a very low key manner. That year, Annie had broken up with her architect boyfriend of 10 years, after which she did not actively look for another relationship. It was not until November 2008 that Annie was spotted kissing a 30-something man (Jason) in a suit in a $500,000 HKD black Mercedes Benz car.

Last Thursday, Annie and Jason were spotted window shopping. Before long, the couple entered a bridal shop, upon which the sales clerks immediately greeted them. It appeared that Annie and Jason had an appointment to try on their wedding attire. Annie changed into a sexy backless bridal dress, which sparked the admiration of everyone present, including Jason’s fixated stare. Afterward, Jason tried on his tuxedo for the wedding. The couple loving fixed each others’ attire.

In a telephone interview, Annie admitted that she and Jason were getting married. Asked whether she was currently pregnant, thus sparking the wedding, Annie laughed and said, “No! But if that were the case, then it was too early to confirm the pregnancy! I am trying to get married before Janet Chow (周家蔚) and Sherming Yiu (姚樂怡)!”

Annie revealed that she has been dating businessman, Jason, for 3 years. Their relationship was very stable. “In fact, we had planned to get married at the end of last year, but we were unable to work out the schedule. After seeing many friends getting married recently, I took a more active role in planning our wedding.”

Annie’s bridesmaids will include Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) 、Angela Tong (湯盈盈)、Janet Chow (周家蔚) and Sherming Yiu (姚樂怡). Asked whether she will retire from the entertainment industry after marriage, Annie replied, “No, but I will reduce my workload, as I want to have a baby.”

Annie Man was once a rising star at ATV. In 2000, after switching to TVB, she was heavily utilized until TVB’s policy of promoting only contracted artists was administered. Annie turned her career to mainland China, fading from the Hong Kong television circle. After breaking up with her architect boyfriend, Annie met Jason at cousin’s social gathering. When the press photographed Annie and Jason kissing in the car, the couple had just started dating. It was unexpected that their single kiss had locked their love!

Sherming Yiu to marry boyfriend of 8 years on April 26th

Sherming Yiu announced today that she will be marrying her boyfriend Alan Ng Chun Hong on April 26, 2012 wrapping up their 8 year romance. Sherming and her fiance Alan went to shoot their wedding photos indoors at Cyberport on the forth day of Lunar New Year. She felt greatly disappointed: "Today I initially planned to do the wedding photo shoot outdoors, but its too cold out, so we could just stay indoors." Sherming reveals she will be visiting Japan in April and do another wedding photo shoot with the Cherry Blossoms. She frankly said: "This wedding photography company thought I told them I was going to be married April of next year, but when they learned its April of this year, they were frightened and said the schedule is tight." When asked why she's in such a hurry, does April 26th have a special meaning? She said: "The hotel I liked didn't have any openings even in the earlier several months, so later they gave me a few dates to choose from and I chose the 26th because it is our remembrance day. In fact, June 26th is our actual remembrance day, but unfortunately June is too hot."

A touching, but funny wedding proposal

When speaking of the marriage proposal, Sherming laughed: "At the time, I was shooting the travel show with Eric Tsang and them in Japan. Then, I stayed there for a few more days, that day it was our remembrance day, and he came to find me in Japan. Actually, I already felt something was wrong, why would his friends tag along with us for dinner on our remembrance day? Later, he showed me a video and it was a video Alan personally made. He was looking for the letters that made up 'Will You Marry Me'. After watching it, he proposed to me, but I didn't even cry yet and he already started crying himself. Although it was really funny, I was still very touched."

As for the wedding, Alan's younger sister will be the maid of honor, but Sherming has a very flourishing group of bridesmaid. She expressed her bridesmaid are basically the same members from Toby Leung's wedding, including Angela Tong, Charmaine Sheh and Annie Man. Sherming also exposed that Annie Man competed with her to marry first, and Timmy Hung will be marrying Janet Chow in March, so she'll be the last one in line. Sherming laughed: "Some friends told us that because I'm the last one among the group, I will also get the least money gifts because they won't have any money left."

Asked if she's going to have a Dragon baby too? She blurted out: "I want to!" Sherming also laughed and said she may have lost the race in getting married, but she will fight to be the first in having a baby. As for her fiance is a village man, does the elders from his family want her to have more children or maybe have a boy? Alan made himself clear: "Does not matter. I feel two children is enough, one boy, one girl." Sherming said: "I want a girl, so I can help her dress up, but if possible, I do want a boy and a girl. It's best to have twins!"

Guess WHAT!?! I just finished my exams today!!! WHOOO!!! hehe finally all the stress is gone (beside thinking if I passed or failed)!! Will be coming back with updates this weekend! :D hehe will also start watching some new series....

I have started on L'Escargot and it's been alright. Excited to start on Wish and Switch though! haha need a comedy to create some laughthers ;) Whoo!

This have been written awhile ago (1 year-ish? which is why 2011 still isn't there yet) but I didn't feel like posting it up. Since tvb is doing the golden couple thing this year though, I thought I might as well :)

In the past few years, who are the couples I've liked? There are couples that I did like but I'm only going to be mentioning the ones that I've love very very much. So who are they....?

2010

-What's so special about this year? Well, of course it's the great pairing between Kenneth Ma and Selena Li! Cute, too bad they didn't have a 'official-ish' ending....but it was just completely cute! The part where Kenneth thought that Selena was going to kiss him was so cute!!! Hehe, likes how she said his mouth stink xP

2009

-100% that this includes Dayo and Charmaine who acted as one of the most adorable couple in You're Hired!!! The most refreshing couple of all and I was extremely glad that tvb had let them pair up. Until now I could still remember their character names, Mak Tai Song and Lam Miu Miu! I would like to see them pair up again! Absolutely wonderful! ....think I'm going to rewatch this now xD

-One of the most popular pairing arised in Under the Canopy of Love. Many have loved them and I also do to. Can't really say I was totally obsessed but I did very like. Even though the story between them was quite simple, it still brought alot of sweetness out of it. This series is also one of my favs to watch ;) Simple and yet heart-warming.

-I'm pretty sure that everybody knows about the famous 4? Bobby, Frankie, Yoyo and Linda! No doubt that I love them very much! I never thought of Bobby and Yoyo together before, but they made quite nice pairing in here. It's also in here that I've begin to like them more and more. A surprising couple in here, Linda and Frankie was a great couple! Because of their age diff. I didn't think that they'd be such a nice couple, but in here....I've totally loved them.

2005

This year is probably the year with so much couples!

-Famous series Love Bond. I just simply love the 2 main couples, Michael/Kenix and Bermo!! It's quite awhile already though, so I can't say exactly say much...I just know I really love them! I remember how much I love Moses and Bernice's chemistry and the times they stood up for each other. Michael and Kenix went though a lot of trouble to get together....it was so sad when Anne came back. I felt so bad for Kenix and the part where she told Michael how somethings just aren't meant to be (shooting stars during the day...etc). Luckily, nothing is impossible for them ;)

-The Gentle Crackdown. Ah, yes....the series was heart-warming and the couple Moses Chan and Niki Chow was simply adorable! I think this is the first 'completely' comedic role Moses has? I love how their characteristics mis and match each other. I wish to see Niki more in tvb. She's a good actress and I hope to see her more.

-Into Thin Air - Kenneth Ma and Bernice Liu. Just so cute! Have to love Bernice's bold behavior and Kenneth's shy guy character. The fact that one is a detective and one is a cop is also cool^^

2004

Virtues of Harmony 2 - Steven's and Linda's first pairing in here and they were absolutely adorable! Some of my fav's scenes of Virtues 2 definitely includes theirs!! I still remember one part of theirs where they tried to cook! Lols Linda wasn't so good at cooking and neither was Steven. Created a huge mess xP The part where they lived together and they way to get to know wach other were really sweet. Steven was so sweet when he protected Linda form the lightning sounds (she's afraid of them) and told her stories during the night. It was so sad when Linda pretended to ignore and rejected Steven! Felt so bad for both...

Virtues of Harmony 2 - Not only is Linda and Steven a fav, Bernice and Frankie once capture my heart again after Virtues 1. From the bickering to the crushes...then the seperation and heartaches, I could still remember those parts. I hated the guy who lied to Bernice when she lost her memory!!! In the end...

2003

-Steven Ma and Maggie Cheung in Better Halves plays as a bickering couple! Think this is their first time pairing up and I just fell in love with them! They're the kind of people who won't admit that they like each other....which usually becomes draggy...but that didn't happen in here. I find their scenes so cute and funny and you have to love the way they stick together throughout ups and downs. Another of my fav. series and definitely recommended to everybody!

-Point of No Return gave us one of the most adorable couple ever! Charmaine and Chiliam was a super sweet bickering couple =) Have you guys notice how much I love bickering couples? Haha that is not all they arr though of course. I still remember how Chiliam knelt in front of a whole crowd of people asking Charmaine to give him another chance. That was really touching...

2002

-The Trust of a Lifetime is one of the series I remember loving very much and also another highly reccomended from me. Roger Kwok and Amy Kwok ( who I really, really miss!) plays as the leading couple in here. They were cute and I still remember one really emotional part between them. Roger was so sweet when he worried about Amy and how he gave her the necklace ;)

2001

Virtues of Harmony - Bernice and Frankie made a super cute pairing together! I love their bickering and it was so cute how they began to fall for each other. When they pretended to be husband and wife and danced in the festival...they began to really grow fond of each other. I was so sad for them when Bernice had to go and marry the prince. Luckily they did get together again...no matter of what their status is ;)

Virtues of Harmony - Bondy Chiu, Cutie Mui and Michael Tse were absolutely hilarious! You have to love this couple so much. lols Kingdom Yuen wanting to steal Michael was sweet xP Hehe...more trouble for the triangle as if there wasn't enough already! =D

2000

The year that is well remembered because of the series The Four Legendary Aces. I absolutely enjoyed this series and loved all of the main couples very much! My fav. couple though would be Nadia Chan and Gordon Lam along with Nick Cheung and Esther Kwan. The part where Nadia was about to be married of to the mongolian prince was so sad! Sometimes I'm a bit annoyed how Gordon just can't admit to her how much he loves her -.- Nick Cheung's chase after Esther was adorable! So touching during the part where Esther's face was ruined but he still wanted to marry her =) Definitely again, a recommended series!

-HAppy Ever After. All I can say is that this was one of the best series I've watched and absolutely adorable couples! Each couple have their own focus. Most touching story is between Kwong Wah and Nadia Chan (as Tak Fei). I really want Nadia to return...I really miss her.

-DIF 3 features...this time I won't use the word cute or adorable but touching story of Jessica Hsuan and Louis Koo. Whenever they appear, there'd be this song that plays in the background =)

Lives of Omission Overview

WAYYY too long ago since I finished this series. But when I was digging through all my drafts, I found this review. Haha not going to edit anything and just posted it...

The Ending

Um...none of the ending surprised me because of the amount of spoilers I've read before hand xP (I hate it when the news are all spoilers....but it's entirely my fault for reading them *sigh*)

Jodie's and Paris's death.

To be brutally honest, I didn't really "feel" anything for Jodie or Laughing when Jodie died. It's quite odd actually, since I'm usually really emotional about these kind of stuff. Maybe because it was the spoilers? Or maybe it's just because I never felt a deep liking for the couple?

~In all the scenes of Paris, my favourite is the one where she got caught and was put into jail. Her confession of love for Michael was so touching...and one reason why I like her so much.~

Unlike Jodie's death....Paris's death weren't highlighted in any news, so I was a bit surprise about her "death". I didn't exactly feel "sad" though....but feels more like disgust towards Michael for pulling the trigger. At that moment, the flashback scene of Paris asking Michael (whom asked her to stop heightening her career...with this other company....for his sake), if he could drop out of the gang for her, came into my mind. It is obvious that they both deeply loved each other...but it makes me think what was the most important to Micahel? I thought that shot Michael gave Paris gave me the answer; she was not his top priority. But it turned out differently....Michael shot Paris on the right...but he knew her heart lies on the left. To be honest, I was abit confuse when Michael shot Paris. It was just so random. But I guess everything makes sense now...What he did was to save her...unfortunately his plan to reunite with her did not turn out right. IF only he retired from the gang, their whole story would be different with a happier ending....sigh.

The ending scene where Paris saw Michael's death on the newspaper is sad. I even cried along with Paris when she held onto their wedding dress :(

Though I didn't like Michael and Paris that much...I still prefer their story over Jodie's and Michael's. I wonder how it would've turn out if Kate Tsui and Fala Chen switched their roles...?

Laughing Illegally Killing Michael

I don't care what he said in court because I just cannot agree with his reason. I understand Laughing is hurt but I thought as an undercover, he could've learn to have better control over his actions. It really disappointed me to see him kill Michael, since Laughing has always been scripted as a righteous cop.

His "defense" statement wasn't that great either. It actually reminded me abit about Ghetto Justice; choosing between what is morally right and lawfully right. Did Michael deserve his death? Most definitely. But was it lawfully right for Laughing to kill him? Um..no...killing is going a bit too far. Since the beginning of the series, it's main goal is to uphold justice and fairly punish the ones who're suppose to be punish, but the last episode just went against everything the series was depicted for since the beginning! I think that is the reason why it annoyed me so much.....irritating v_v

Then there is the shadow in the cell Laughing was in. Um...does that mean there's going to be a sequel? Are they going to make him break out of jail? :P Another thought I had is that the shadow represents the darkness....Laughing is going to turn evil and insane!!!! Like Spicy Ginger :P

Speaking of Spicy Ginger played by Ben Wong, he was a very interesting character to watch! Ben Wong have always been a great actor and he brought Spicy Ginger to life! I thought he was perfect in the role! When it was revealed that her was a undercover....I was shocked! He's another Laughing! (It's unbelievable how many undercovers there are in this series...) Though I wished that Spicy remained loyal to the police force...I was glad to see the tempted side of being a gang leader too. I believe that once someone have the power....it could change who they once were. Spicy Ginger got too caught up in that and it made him lose his original goal; to uphold justice and protect the citizens.

Storyline:

Lives of Omission has an alright storyline and I was chasing one episode after another. But as the story continues though....you could see quite a few faults here and there. Let me summarize my thoughts into 2 sections; Likes and Dislikes.

Likes:

- the shifts between the young and the "old" (more experienced). The main leads are obviously Michael Tse, Bosco Wong, Fala Chen etc. but we also got to see some of the newer artistes in here (MC Jin, Mandy Wong, Brian and each with a little sub (ish) story.

I don't like it when tvb suddenly push a new artiste into a big role because obviously, we are not familiar with them...and since they are new, the first opinion would be that they're going to be bad. By just putting them into small roles first, we just get to warm up with them. And I personally liked all the new faces, especially the twins, MC Jin, Mandy Wong and Sammy shum

-Sammy Shum: he's the guy that played as Michael's (Bosco Wong) right hand man. This is my first time seeing him, but I like him very much and is looking forward to seeing him more future series :) haha the part where he hinted to MC Jin that he likes Michael was hilarious!! I actually wished to see more of that....quite upsetting to see him die without a confession to Michael.

Dislikes:

- Jodie's character. She's too weak to be a madam. I understand that we are not robots and can all be super strong, but the problem was that the script showed more of her weak side than her strong side. That just killed the madam image. I was really disappointed to see that her character barely had any action scenes and showed little sense of power. In the end, is it the actress or the character? I see more fault in the character due to weak scenes given. It felt like Jodie served more as a love interest for Laughing than an actual madam.

- The missing people!! I love the sub stories....but after they're finish....they just seem to disappear into thin air! For example, Derek Kwok's character was caught as a spy by Bosco Wong's Character (Micahel) and got beat up. What happened to him after that? I dunno.....Then there is Fire Dragon (Adrian Chau), whom I thought would take revenge for his brother (Bosco caused his to become disabled)....but ended up disappearing? And Mo Ka-Lit's death is considerably a big deal isn't it? But the matter just kinda settle down after his death....which irritated me.

- Michael (Bosco Wong). Don't get me wrong, I loved Michael and thought his character was awesome! But that only remained for about 2/3 ish of the series? Since the death of Mo Ka Lit, his tactics seem to have gone down.....but overall, the ending is what annoyed me the most. I just thought is was a stupid death for such a character with so much potential.

- Trust is really easy to gain. Is that really true now? Laughing have been in the police force....why is he so easily trusted? I just find that too hard to believe....If I was them, I wouldn't trust him. They should be smarter than me :P Aiya...and the repeated UCs....

-The last case with the group of 4....which I seem to have forgotten the name to now. Anyways, I thought it started of with potential but too rushed towards the end. Though I still think recognizing them as a "world organization" (am I right?) was a bit over the line...eh but the rings were interesting right?

Overall

The series is not bad...though illogical at times but still alright. It goes on with a good pace that doesn't make it draggy. So if you have time, give the time to watch it. From what I've heard, most people do enjoy it :)

Bottled Passion Episode 5 Thoughts

This part is sweet. He doesn't create magic by his tricks but by his words spoken to comfort her :)

So we got to see the history behind Pun-Sin's (Raymond Wong) and Law-Yat (Eric Li). Turns out that Law Yat was a homeless kid that Pun-Sin helped back then...and from that day on, they're been "co-workers/buddies". My only complaint though...is how they used the grown up Raymond Wong to play the flashback and a kid to play as the younger Law Yat. Just the age timing is weird...

Tsu Sum (Niki Chow) is really troubled by her family's finance due to her little brother's sudden debt. She tried to ask the bank, but it didn't work out. Pun-Sin knows about this, but wanted to wait for her to tell him. In the end, she didn't...and that made him felt bad because he's planning to use her problem for his own advantage...

Ko Yi Tai (Joel Chan) comes to Kwok Fung, wanting to obtain the soy sauce factory. Tsu Sum didn't know what to do in sight of the amount of money offered, which could help her little brother pay of his debt. At the last minute...Pun-Sin asked her if she trust him to let him decide for her. What is his plan?!?!

Bottled Passion Episode 4 Thoughts

Not anything too special about this episode beside the two introduction, Gou Yi Kiu (Elaine Yiu) and super adorable friend of Tung Pun Sin's (Raymond Wong), Law Yat (Eric Li). Haha here are some scenes I'd like to share some thoughts on...

Tsu Sum's (Niki Chow) mother got super mad at her brother (played by Raymond Cho) when she found out that Tsu Sum's leg got hurt. I was quite surprise with her reaction...since I first thought (from reading the synopsis) that Tsu Sum would've been adopted...but I guess not? Argh I really want to know what happened to her after running away from the orphanage, and why her leg isn't limped anymore? :/

Since Tsu Sum sprained her ankle, Pun Sin (Raymond Wong) came by to her house and gave her this cream thing. It was so sweet. Haha he whipped up some of his magic and instead of the cream that she originally saw, a milk candy was inside the box. Maybe my original instinct was wrong...in the previous episode, I kinda felt that Tsu Sum was falling for him, but in this episode...there seem to be more friendship. But love always start from friendship...just maybe she doesn't see it yet. Quite heart-warming how she never ate any candy he gave to her though, since she knows that the candy are meant for Milk Candy :) Just makes me smile how sweet Tsu Sum is.

We finally got to see more of Gou Yi Kiu (Elaine Yiu) in this episode, but I don't know if I actually like her character or not. I guess even though she's not likable, I do to not dislike her but hate her mom. Omg..the mom (Rebecca Chan) is despicable! She sees her children more as tools than anything...there is no love from a mother.

Turns out Pun-sin isn't such a lonely character...he actually have a best friend aka right wing man, Law Yat (Eric Li). Haha I think their scenes are my favorite in this episode. Though serious at times, they're so comedic :) I love the background music that is played whenever they're together. It just makes everything quite...light-hearted yet kinda mischievous :D

Maggie Cheung Offered 7 Times Her Salary

TVB’s leading artists continue to leave the company. Following Bowie Lam (林保怡) and Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼), Maggie Cheung (張可頤), who worked for TVB for 17 years, also decided not to renew her contract since it expired in December 2011. It was understood that TVB offered to pay nearly double her original salary in order to retain Maggie for 3 more years; however, TVB placed many restrictions on filming in mainland. At the same time, Ricky Wong’s (王維基) City Telecom offered Maggie 7 times her old TVB salary, at the price of $140,000 HKD per episode and custom-tailored roles. With the difference in the contract terms, Maggie decided to leave TVB and sign with City Telecom.

Currently filming in Hengdian for new mainland drama, Female Phase <女相>, Maggie was originally slated to film Big Eunuch <大太監> for TVB at this time, starring oppose TV King, Wayne Lai (黎耀祥) once again. In August last year, TVB executives, Virginia Lok (樂易玲) and Chan Fai Kwong (陳輝光), discussed contract renewal terms with Maggie. They offered to increase her wages from $10,000 to $30,000 HKD per episode. TVB also made it clear that she will be the female lead of Big Eunuch and Producer Lee Tim Shing’s (李添勝) upcoming Legend of Empress Lu <呂后傳>, in which the role was a tailor-made for Maggie.

An insider revealed, “Maggie was a bit uncertain. At this time, several mainland production companies offered her roles, while Ricky Wong’s City Telecom asked her to work for them. In terms of money, TVB cannot be compared to their rivals. The mainland series were confirmed to be broadcast on Hunan TV station, the highest rating station in China. Maggie considered her options for a lengthy amount of time. She heard that Producer Lee Tim Shing will retire after filming Detective Columbus <神探哥侖布> and will not produce Legend of Empress Lu. Since TVB intended to sign Maggie for 3 years, there will not be a chance for her to renegotiate her fees in that period. Otherwise, Maggie will not be assigned to film any ‘big productions.’ Thus, Maggie did not wish to be bound by TVB’s terms.”

After Maggie decided not to renew her TVB contract and instead filmed mainland series, Female Phase, the company implemented an emergency cast change and asked Michelle Yim (米雪) to take on the role of Empress Dowager Cixi in Big Eununch instead.

Recently, Felix Wong (黃日華) had an exchange with Ricky Wong of City Telecom on his Weibo blog, in which Felix indicated his interest to discuss partnership opportunities. Ricky quickly replied that he would fly to Yunnan, China to dicuss with Felix. On the other hand, Felix replied that he understood Ricky was a busy businessman, thus Felix offered to seek out Ricky when he returned to Hong Kong.

Joe Ma, Kenix Kwok, Frankie Lam, and Bernice Liu Confirmed Signing With City Telecom

Earlier, Ricky Wong’s City Telecom announced that they invested $600 million HKD to recruit talent for their newly established free television broadcasting operation. Numerous TVB artists were highly sought after by TVB. Joe Ma (馬德鐘), Kenix Kwok (郭可盈), Frankie Lam (林文龍), and Bernice Liu (廖碧兒), and Janet Chow (周家怡) confirmed they had signed with City Telecom. Allegedly, Amy Kwok (郭藹明) was also tempted by the money City Telecom offered. In addition, City Telecom were also interested in signing veteran actors such as Elliot Ngok (岳華), David Chiang (姜大偉), and Yuen Wah (元華).

Offering double the amount TVB paid, City Telecom successfully recruited 31 scriptwriters, 20 producers and directors, and nearly 500 experienced production staff members. Golden script editors, Cheung Wah Biu (張華標) and Chu Keung Kei (朱鏡棋) have also accepted City Telecom’s offer. It was expected that City Telecom will start filming series in March. The first two productions will be modern dramas, which will likely be broadcast in Hong Kong in September.

Thoughts: I am excited to see what City Telecom have to offer :) With some great recruitment, I'm hoping for it's first production to be successful. Raymond Lam and Ella Koon - There are news about them pairing up in Fight Crime :) Loving the return of Ella Koon and her pairing up with Ray is a great bonus! I'm so happy that tvb is trying on new pairs right now ;)

Ruco Chan and Nancy Wu - After seeing them together at the tvb awards, I already know I wanted to see them together as an onscreen couple!

Edwin Siu and Macy Chan - Cute guy and cute girl. I think they'll make a cute couple :) Would like to see them together again after D.I.E. 2

Sammy Shum and Cilia Kung - Does anybody here know who Sammy Shum is? [He's the person who played as Bai Co's (Bosco Wong) right hand man in Lives of Omission. He just looks different in the series because he had the mustache.] I've liked Sammy Shum since seeing him in Lives of Omission. Didn't know who he was back then but now I do. He look so different with the stache and without it, doesn't he?? :) Anyways, I want to see him more in future series....

To be honest, I wanted to do a poster on Sammy and Kate Tsui, but since he's still rising...there isn't as much pictures on him. So in the end, I found some gorgeous advertisement wedding photos between him and Cilia Kung. They look good together...would be nice to see them as a couple in a series ;)

Bottled Passion Episode 3 Thoughts

Episode 3 is my favourite so far. There are just two really sweet scenes between Tsu Sum (Niki Chow) and Tung Pun-Sin (Raymond Wong):

Tsu Sum asked Pun-Sin to teach her his magic tricks. So he asked her to hold out her hand, put a coin in her hand and began showing her his tricks. Omg...this part was so SWEET! In the end, the coin disappeared and a milk candy appeared in Tsu Sum's hand. You could tell that she was slowly falling for Pun-Sin...and seriously who wouldn't? I'm falling for him myself :P

I liked the part how he told her that magic is enchanting because you never know when it's real or fake...and started describing himself. She told him he was picturing himself like a monster, and in response, he asked her how she know he wasn't. That is my favourite part of this scene there!

Later when Pun-sin got home, he started writing a letter, which we then know it is for Milk Candy. Even though he doesn't know where she is, he regularly write letters to her...not as a fake nice person, but as a sincere and truthful friend. Milk Candy is the only one he trusted and wrote all his plans/feelings for her. To have such a faithful guy loving her, I'm jealous of Milk Candy :) In the letter he wrote though, we finds out that he's only helping Tsu Sum in order to get her business, which will aid his revenge. I wonder...when Pu-Sin finally finds out that Tsu sum in indeed Milk Candy....what will he do?

Another scene I really loved is near the ending. Tsu Sum thought that she found Milk Candy, whom Pun-Sin had been waiting for all these years. Both of them raced to the boat port to find that girl, whom unfortunately didn't turn out to be Milk Candy. During all the chasing though, Tsu Sum sprained her ankle...and in the end, Pun-Sin swept her off her feet and carried her home :) This is the SWEETEST scene between them so far. To be honest...I actually teared up a little seeing him do that. Even though I know he's acting as her friend to get her business for his revenge...and knowing that Tsu Sum is going to get hurt later on, I can't help but love this guy.

Beside the sweet scenes between Pu-Sin and Tsu Sum, we also got to see more of Pu-Sin's childhood and how he became what he is to be. The reason he wants revenge so much is because of Tung Kwok-hing (Rebecca Chan). She's the reason why he got kicked out of his adopted family...and labeled as a swindler. So far, Tung Kwok-hing is the only evil character I'm seeing and I hate her! Rebecca Chan is getting too much of these evil roles though (ex Curse of the Royal Harem).

~The flashback part where Pu-Sin was parting from the orphanage and was looking around for Milk Candy made me tear up. It was so sad seeing them separating.~

Michelle Yim Looks Forward to New Challenges

Michelle Yim noted, “Fortunately, the filming for Big Eunuch was delayed, thus I had a chance to join the cast! I had to refuse many other filming projects in order to take this role!” However, she did not mind losing out [on money] to take on a good script and the chance to work with good costars. Michelle revealed that the scriptwriters put a lot of effort into constructing the dialogue, which often contained rarely used phrases and will pose as a new challenge for Michelle.

Wayne Lai: “Li Lianying Is Not Evil!”

Wayne Lai indicated that no matter who his costar was, he was happy. He looked forward to collaborating with Michelle Yim, praising her for her extensive experience. During the filming process, they complemented each other. Big Eunuch has already completed 10 days of filming. Wayne joked that he was “completely castrated” to portray the eunuch character, Li Lianying. At the prayer ceremony, Wayne knelt before Michelle and escorted her hand as per palace formalities.

Wayne indicated that Big Eunuch did not resemble the typical palace fighting series. The drama will also explore the journey of Li Lianying rising from a low-level eunuch to become one of the Empress Dowager’s must trusted confidantes. Wayne revealed that he will portray Li Lianying as a 20-year-old to 40-year-old man.

The Li Lianying character gave the impression that it was an evil role. Wayne said that it was difficult to classify Li Lianying purely as a good or evil character. He explained that Li Lianying knew how to deal with interpersonal relationships extremely well. Historically, it was known that he had money-making mechanisms and knew how to establish harmony between his subordinates and superiors. Thus, it was difficult to say that he was an evil character. Wayne indicated his excitement and enthusiasm in taking the role.

In an earlier report, it was revealed that Nancy Wu and Wayne will portray the love relationship of a palace maid and eunuch.

Great...even though I know that Raymond is a "bad" guy...I can't help but fall for him in the beginning of the episode! He's so sweet to Niki!! He have such a way with words...so I'm not surprise so many girls will fall for him later on :)

OMG!! From episode 1, I thought Raymond was the reason for Yoyo Chen's death....but it turned out to be Joel Chan instead!! Raymond actually tried to save Yoyo...but sadly she still died. So instead, he secretly gave Yoyo's suicide letter to Niki, whom revealed out the whole back story to the media! whoo! That was good! I never expected that Joel was the guy that Yoyo died for since episode 1 made it seem like Raymond, whom I'm really glad isn't. After this, Raymond's character just get more and more interesting to watch. He's such a sweet guy! I want to see more Raymond!!! haha...

btw Joel's character is such a JERK!! How long have Yoyo died? and he is already chasing after another girl! Just want to strangle him! Since I've just watch Joel Chan in Curse of the Royal Harem as nice and faithful (not to his wife...but to Myolie) guy, this is a big change of character. I think Joel is becoming a real dependable supporting actor, but please do not typecast him into these bad roles.

When Heaven Burns Episode 2 Thoughts

Finally another watched another episode of When Heaven Burns.

Though I still prefer episode 1 a little bit more, episode 2 showed more of the other three main characters, Bowie, Moses and Kenny. And they're the three I'm going to be sharing my thoughts on...

A little was shown on how the three of them killed Charmaine's boyfriend in the mountains. I thought it was quite interesting how right after that, they showed Bowie's and Moses's diet. Bowie immediately spitting out the congee he was eating...since there was meat in there. Turns out he is a vegetarian. Then next after that, there's the scene of Moses eating this juicy red steak. When he was slicing it...the blood was leaking out and omg...it made me feel sick, cause I was thinking of the flashback of them back in the mountains. *thumbs up* for tvb

Unlike the other two, Kenny on the other is the one who lost his memory, so instead of avoiding each other to forget the past, he's trying to reunite his friends. He's also living a happy life with his family, which I am really liking. The series itself is quite depressing...and I think Kenny's scenes is the only happy moments. Such a nice family he have too. I was worried that it will turn out to be another shattered family, but luckily it wasn't. Haha his wife, played my Angela Tong is cute. Like how much she loves driving...(totally opposite of me) x)

Bottled Passion Episode 1 Thoughts

Finally!! I got the chance to watch the first episode! (sad...but it's the only one I've watched so far...) Like what many thinks, I also think this is off to a great start. Only on the first episode and I was crying already...(something wrong with me?). For the rest of this series, I think I'll need a few boxes of tissue :P

Now let's talk about this episode...

I was surprised how the story started off....I guess I didn't think Niki and Raymond would meet so early. On the other hand, it made me feel all sweet and cozy inside when he told her who he was waiting for. It warmed me up to their relationship already :) Also loved the flashbacks (the kids in the roles were both so cute!), which just made me fall deeper for the couple. Raymond is so sweet...keeping their promises all this time, and came back to the place to wait for Niki once every ten years. Unfortunately Niki...(lost her memory) and passed by him like a stranger. It was so sad...seeing Raymond wait like that :(

As for the individual characters, let's first talk about Raymond. He doesn't have as many scenes yet but you could already see the two sides of his character. In his first scene, waiting at the fields (temple), he gave off as such a gentle guy...Then during his scene with Yoyo Chen...he looked so heartless and somewhat evil when he yelled at her! It gave me the creeps though, how he saw Niki crying later and told her that he hated seeing women cry. Yoyo was crying so much, telling him how much she loved him and even comitted suicide...and yet, he was so cold....and now he told a girl that he didn't like seeing women cry. Overall, scary but yet an interesting character to watch out for :D

Then their is Niki. This character is unlike her previous characters, which all had less emotional scenes. Could already see Niki somewhat struggling with the crying scenes...since her tears can't seem to fall down. I'm a bit worried for her though, since just in the first episode...she already had somewhat..3 crying scenes? There's definitely going to be quite a few more later on. On the other hand, I like her strong character and how she handled the whole soy sauce business. During the scene where she try to calm down the crowd by lying to the dept collectors that their store is shipping soy sauce to America, it really reminded Kenneth in A Fistful of Stances. It's just their way to handle debt collectors :D

Right now, i'm waiting for the moment when Niki regains her memory...and Raymond finding out that she's the one he've been waiting all these years :)

Thoughts: Kinda excited...but still a bit unsure. I guess I'm just not convince seeing Tavia and Kenneth as a couple, since they look to brotherly to me x) Then their is Raymond. He's either going to turn out boring or hopefully interesting. eh...I prefer him in more energetic roles, not serious ones.

If a genie appears and grants you three wishes for Christmas, what would they be?

1) Attend Hogwarts! Lols I'm a big fan of Harry Potter and how cool is it to go to a magical school? Nothing can beat that x)

2) Rent out the Forbidden City, with a bunch of actors as servants etc and me as a princess for one week :D Haha I've always think it'll be cool to live in a palace...also get to dress in ancient costumes and the FOOD ;)

3) Own a turtle! Not a gigantic one, but I'd like those small cute ones :) Besides pandas, turtles are the cutest animals EVER!!!! hehe....

Haha those three are just some fun wishes I have. In real life, if a genie does actually appear to grant me three wishes, I'd take some time to think about them :) Would definitely include traveling in there though. And of course before all that...I'd probably avoid the genie, thinking that he/she is some kind of weird stalker :P

Thoughts: A series with the most refreshing couples to kick of the new year ;) Ron/Linda, Michael/Sonija, Oscar/Mandy, Him/Yoyo!!!! That's probably the most exciting aspect of the series. Other than that...the story does seem alright, but I hope it won't be too dramatic and instead turn out to be more light hearted. Haha also the ending...*bias*hopes Linda and Ron end up together :3

Hehe..I hope you guys all like the new layout ;) The nice thing about this layout is it's simplicity...the cons are; no banner, can no longer upload video using google..due to the strange extra screencap (have to resort to youtube now...which I'm mostly afraid it's going to ban my account soon due to tvb videos), and no polls (have to find the solution through another site..). On the other hand we are able to have different icons :D I chose all pics related to Christmas, after the holiday is over....I'm changing all the graphics again ;) haha...

Thoughts: As many of you probably know already, Maggie Cheung was suppose to film this but due to schedule conflicts, the role is now played by Michelle Yim. Both are great actresses, but I personally like Michelle Yim abit more and see her more fitting in the role :) So I was really happy to see her in here!

Another grand production with Nancy Wu!!! Such a talented actress who can play both innocent and evil roles, I wonder what kind of character Nancy will be playing in here? :) I'm hoping to see a gentle one since I'm just watching her as the evil concubine in Curse of the Royal Harems.

Selena Li plays as a guest star in here! Have a feeling she's going to get killed in here some how....since a guest star can't remain all series right? Hm..I want to see Selena in an evil role, since she did well in the stubborn, naughty (semi-evil?) role given in Beyond the Realm on Conscience.

Raymond Wong as an eunuch? Looking forward to this. So happy that he is able to participate in a grand series...hopefully for a breakthrough role. Sadly, Ruco Chan was also suppose to take part in the series, but not anymore :( Upset....wanted to see Ruco and Raymond together again.

Curse of the Royal Harem - Scene Feature No.1

As far as episode 12, this is my favourite scene so far.

The emperor (Sunny Chan) told his two "wives" (one empress and the other a consort) about a dream he had. Through the dream, he wanted to tell them that he wished that they could put their biases aside and build a happy home inside the imperial palace. He then asked Yuen Yuen (Myolie Wu) to put her head beside Yee Lan's (Jessica Hsuan) stomach and listen to her baby's heartbeat. The music used and the expression of regrets on Myolie's face fitted the scene perfectly, making it a really touching scene. I hope that Yuen Yuen can realize that the life in both of her and Yee Lan is more than a power tool.

"I recall an embarrassing and disgusting experience. One time I went to Shenyang to shoot a travel special and had the opportunity to eat the goldfish dumplings. When it was time to shoot, a mosquito came flying at me, the director was a gentleman and helped me shoo it away. However, I accidentally patted his butt and he fell on the goldfish dumplings. We all saw him, but we actually didn't have time to steam the dumplings again, so I had to suck it up and eat the 'added ingredient' scalp dumplings and had to pretend it was so tasty. The classic on-screen couple from the Rosy Business series Sheren Tang and Wayne Lai continue their fate and collaborate again in Mainland. The two joked that they are collaborating in a 'Middle-Aged Idol Drama'!

Sheren revealed a photo of her and Wayne on Weibo. The two were in their costumes, Sheren joked that they are two minds think alike: "Why do we always have to have so much chemistry? We don't need to do any communication prior and we still match so well!" She also said her collaboration with Wayne is enjoyable: "Anytime I see this great acting partner, my face would naturally have this super relaxed and happy expression. Officially Winter Break!!!

This is my last day of school before winter break :) Hehe two weeks break!!!! Finally the time to catch up on all my dramas and....maybe find a new layout for TVB Horizon for the New Years? :3 Probably the site is going to be down a few days after Christmas?? I dunno :P

*sigh* Got exams after break though....which also means studying through break. My math teacher is insane....she gave us so much math homework for the break -.- Something that would make my holiday really perfect now is...snow!!! It have not snowed over here yet, which is what I was really looking forward too :/ Please snow!!!!

Irritating....

You know what is irritating? Working with html!!!! Blogger just changed it's "layout" (like how youtube did too...) and now whenever posting...I have to work with the html -.- Argh...can only upload pictures now...no more video (have to use youtube now). HTML everywhere!!!!!!!!! Change is suppose to be good...but now blogger is just complicated and yt is just ugly.

Things are just getting better and better with Curse of the Royal Harem :)

Sire Ma's character in here is very sweet :) She's such an innocent character...and is now really admiring Joel Chan. I thought their personality is a perfect match, but unfortunately Joel met Myolie first :/

In episode 6, we also got to see a bit of Myolie's and Joel's past....and how they seperated. They first met when Joel was drunk and accidentally went into Myolie's room. Haha I liked how they yelled at each other. I loved Myolie's appearance...light, not the dark, jam packed makeup :P Show's of her innocent teenage years....but being young, you also have dreams and hers was to become the empress. I doubt it was hers though....think its more because of her mom. *sigh* Listening to your parents is good and you should, but them "controlling" your life is another thing :/ It's a pity she let go of Joel....she would've still been a high ranked lady, if she married him...

I wonder though, after spending (how many years?) with Sunny.....you could see that she's really happy when she's with him (puppets), but yet, she still can't....not exactly "forget", but more like... unable to put Joel behind her? Eh...just give me a weird feeling due to the happiness she gives of when she's together with Sunny, but Joel still takes over whenever they meet....where are the feelings for Sunny?

Then in episode 7, the action begins when we see the Jessica fighting back against Myolie. Great scene where Myolie slapped Jessica, and Jessica said how she would get payback. We can begin to see that Jessica is not someone to be messed with, and it proves right in episode 8 when Nancy betrayed her, Jessica commented how she would repay the people who helped her, but will never forget the people who betrayed her (while glaring at Nancy). Omg!! Jessica looked evil at that part! She didn't say it just to scare Nancy though...she meant it. When Myolie set Nancy up to marry this 60 year old eunuch, she went to beg Jessica to help her.....you would've expect Jessica to be a nice person and help Nancy...but no. Jessica meant her words o.O Though Myolie is still considered the "evil" so far...Jessica is far more scary. Myolie's personality is rash and hot-headed, which makes her look immature (caused by jealousy) more than evil. Jessica on the other hand act with thoughts and handles things in a more settle way....showing no sign of when she will hurt you. Myolie better watch out :P When you push someone to a dead end....their first reflex would be to fight back, I think Myolie is digging her own grave right now :/
